  1. Yes. I also traded for 2 coffee pkgs in December and plan to do so in April.
  2. Just renewed online and it was stupid simple!! Except I put in wrong travel dates (3/16/23 - 4/23/23 instead of 4/16/23 - 4/23/23). Oops. Hard to do everything on a smartphone. Well I could go to Mexico almost anytime. I mean it's less than a days drive south. Would you correct?
  3. I just booked one and for anyone who's done it before: 1. Can I DIY Hilo, Honolulu, Kauai (Nawiliwili) ports? 2. Do Hop On Hop Off shuttles come to the port? 3. How to get to Pearl Harbor?
  4. I just wear my retractable reel .... y'know the kind a work badge attaches too.
  5. Not at 8F sports or 17F school (plays basketball at school) Thankfully "participation medals" are a thing of the past. As kids learn to deal with disappointment they become more resilient
  6. It is regrettable that someone must actually enter and remain in the game to win. To enter, remove your entry after a winner is chosen, then remove the game fees makes one ineligible. What is really unfortunate is that: IMHO $120+ Specialty Dining for at least 3 and $100 to the kid is quite generous in that he canceled his entry.
  7. Not a school age child, but yeah. Specialty Dining for family + $100 cash should go a long way since he canceled his entry. If my 17 yo came home disappointed at a school incident I'd use it as an opportunity to teach that sometimes life isn't fair unless it was a bullying incident. Your team is really REALLY good but you're not the Champs so do NOT get a medal. Eligible for the monitor / job / promotion but someone else gets it. List goes on ~~~~
  8. Us too but that was because we wanted same table / same time / 2 top each night.
  9. The only one I'm interested in is the casino credit. How does it work? Once I load my bank, do they then credit me? Or do they credit me once I lose $20?
  10. Yes. You will / should (if everything is working correctly) have the option to apply credits when paying for excursions
  11. No idea. When I last got one it was a printed pamphlet
  12. There wasn't a sales pitch on those 2 medallion cruises in 2019 or the European cruise in 9/2022 where most got them at pier.
  13. PSD currently print any and all port guides upon request. Just ask!
  14. 😅🤣😂 Does it work if I don't buy wifi??
  15. Travel agents can be of help also! Travel Agents can waived change fees on ticketed flight changes?? I thought (obviously wrong) that they were unable to waive 3rd party fees. Or do you mean they can explain the purchase contract. (I actually think it is well written but so few actually read it)
  16. 1. April 23rd Pacific Northwest on Ruby Princess 2. June 26th Alaska on Discovery Princess 3. September 2nd Transatlantic on Enchanted Princess 4. December 8th Partial Panama Canal on Caribbean Princess
  17. @Jeter02 I'm trying to justify a 5 niter on Emerald Princess then staying on for Hawaii. But that would mean only 1 land based trip. Still it's tempting
  18. Just 2023: April 16th California Coastal Royal Princess November 23rd Enchanted Princess On hold: >> May 27th Mexico Emerald Princess >> June 1st Hawaii on Emerald Princess Plan is to travel 4× a year but I do land trips as well.
  19. I had yo pick up my first few medallions on check in (2019 voyages) and it didn't take that long. Hope it's as fast now2
  20. You can cancel that then book onboard if you want to use OBC. On my last 7 cruises (8/21->) they have had open tables at almost all times
  21. 1-800-774-6237 option 2 then option 1. Ignore if the prompt re: sailing after September 2022 (obviously you are). You can leave a request to be called back and not lose your spot in the queue
  22. Just a suggestion to also research what your credit card gives you. Mine (USAA) adds on: > Travel and Emergency Assistance - medical and legal referrals, prescription assistance, travel planning and other services. > Trip Cancellation and Interruption - up to $1,500 per covered person when you buy your ticket with your card. > Travel Accident Insurance - benefit amounts of up to $500,000 > Baggage Delay Reimbursement - up to $100 a day, for up to three days
  23. I'm average size and live in an old home so I've never had an issue with the shower. (5'8" 160, yeah trying to lose but no luck so far) Food is subjective. Being a vegetarian with food allergy who hates spicy food I find it awesome! But if someone wants everything mucho picante you and I will disagree on food. Buffet:: Agree re: behaviors. I went 2×. Found the amt of food ppl ladles onto their plates nauseating. But I can get everything I want in reasonable portions at IC. Regrettably you did not find International Cafe. Here's my issue with a lot of lines:: $9.95 for anything other than continental breakfast at limited hours. https://thepointsguy.com/news/cruise-line-doubles-room-service-fees I hate nickle & diming. Don't want to think: " do I just want to order my fruit plate while listening to strings or do I need to run somewhere to grab it and risk losing my seat. .... I just want that pot of tea & cookie so do I find it or just chill watching going through the canal on my balcony or ....." But it's great that you've found a line you're at home on.
  24. Actually I love them! So convenient. It doesn't go off unless you get up so your options are (a) turn on the overhead light (b) stumble around in the dark (c) motion sensor light. IMHO (c) is the least intrusive as I'm not great stumbling around in the dark unless at home
  25. @MissP22Yeah, and when the MC heads are adding that notification could they PLEASE add one when you get a chat from another cruiser?? (Not expecting either to happen)
