  1. USPS doesn't pay any attention to dates on 3rd class mail. I've sent bulk mail out & it sometimes takes days, other times weeks. Luck of the draw
  2. Clarifiation. I book 135 days out. Pay in full @ 90 days. Change flight at 46 days. Get refund
  3. Like I said, the latest I've ever changed and gotten a refund within 2 days was when I changed at 45 days before my flight. As Steelers stated final payment for cruise remains at 90 days (or when booking if booking within 90days). So its easy to have PCL owe me if I shift my flight (either to ticketed or an entirely new flight) and refund is within 2 business days
  4. Correct if not ticketed yet. Plus last time I opted to ticket at 46 days out (supposedly tickets automatically at 45 days out) I got the lower fare with almost $100 back in 2 days. I didn't change anything except opting to "ticket now." Supposedly restricted fare was less than flexible fare CVP says that's how it's supposed to be.
  5. The only difference is when I've paid for everything & then I change flexible flights it takes 24-48 hrs to get the money back as a credit card refund. If I haven't paid yet then I just owe less.
  6. US Mail issue / this service is getting slower and slower. That's why I sign up to get as much as possible via email (got 2 Black Friday ads today too)
  7. It's in the patter and already listed on my next voyage's JourneyView.
  8. Of course!! But the problem is that they might be sold out. If you use OBC to buy them beforehand but change your mind onboard, you can cancel (there's a posted cancel by date) and get that OBC returned to your account to use on a different excursion or elsewhere
  9. Ask who to get (& who to avoid) at the Meet and Greet.
  10. He could have canceled the one you booked & rebook for $1. Time for a different CVP
  11. Not exactly your question BUT I've had a lot of OBC lately so I don't need Princess Plus. Just trade minibar for coffees, use OBC for gratuities / wine / specialty dining / airport transfer back to flight (must be done asap onboard). Negates the need for Princess Plus
  12. What i fired a CVP for: (assigned to her 1/22-4/22) 1. Not returning calls during regular California hours 2. Impolite - 'scolded' me for using chat line Why I like my CVP: 1. Returns calls noon PST 2. Adjusts price after final payment date 3. Gets me current promotions after final payment date inc extra OBC (I book standard fare) 4. Handles booking issues inc finding my preferred rooms when they aren't showing anywhere (E409-E425 on Royal class, midship Caribe on older ships) Prior CVP (retired 12/21) handled in-transit issues. This 1 had to only handle 1 in-transit issue Yeah, outside of location, it's all about the $$s
  13. FWIW if anyone reading this hasn't gotten the actual passport book yet it can be produced on a same day basis. So get it. How do I know? Grandson needed a passport for his European tour. Called the local office and they gave him a 10am appointment in SF as they were put of apps. Must be on the day of the flight. Not before. SF had him return at 1pm. Had passport book in hand by 1:15. (Processing time 10am -> 1:15pm) On uber for SFO within minutes. Only cost an extra $60. Also he cruised with me numerous times w/o one and with just an embossed bc BUT only to Mexico, Alaska (Canada), and Caribbean. Never to Panama or South America
  14. When I called and it was going to be a long hold time I had them call me back. Return call was about 1/2 hr later.
  15. My favorite is Mighty Leaf Vanilla. No cream or sugar. They will say it isn't available but then I ask for the purple tea bag, and oh yeah, thats it. It, like a few other options, are not listed so cannot get it through app.
  16. It's been on the MDR menu for Majestic, Enchanted, Ruby, Emerald, and Discovery (2×) since restarted as well as at Pub Lunch. I went to the buffet for the very 1st & only time in September (Enchanted) and the desserts & ice cream were vastly different from MDR
  17. Ah yes 2019 .... less printed material post restart.
  18. If it is they didn't tell us in Regal's internet cafe last year. Had to purchase a full day's internet to spend 5 mins printing off the tickets needed the next morning. I requested to be comped for 5 minutes on the Enchanted Princess (I already knew they couldn't limit me to #minutes). Cafe Mgr complied. But it wasn't a big deal as I booked EZAIR so I was their passenger until I boarded for SFO. Didn't need to print though as I just use mobile boarding passes Never hurts to ask
  19. I guess my post was confusing. As the HW circulates we asked to sit at the same table, same time, same waiter the only time I dined with others. That was lunch each day in MDR. I always have dinner solo. I ask the HW if I can just return to that table. And they prefer that I do. (Allergies) But on my last 2 voyages I noticed that all the tables in my section were also same diners so it wasn't just me. Makes it so much easier. Just say hello & walk right in. Same table / same staff / same time / vegetarian menu waiting for me
  20. Unless everyone at the table requests it. Then it's just walk in to your table. At least that's been my experience on my last 5 cruises. I was misled by the app on my 1st MC cruise (8/15/21 cruise) and tried to do it as stated on the app. Never again. That's too frustrating
  21. But it's still my go-to when my take on bottles are gone & I like sweet wine. Not as dry as most IMHO
  22. Charles & Charles Rose | Total Wine & More https://www.totalwine.com/wine/rose-blush-wine/syrahshiraz/charles-charles-rose/p/121123750
  23. I buy at least 1 specialty dinner anyway and now I get a bottle of wine! Its a win!! Before it was BOGO specialty dinner which did not benefit solos. Like i said:
  24. Finally it sounds like its worded to benefit even solo cruisers!!
