  1. Apples to oranges. Those are bills that may change every billing statement, the cruise balance remains the same.
  2. You should already know how much you owe and when. You either take the payment to them or send it. Again, that's my opinion and how I would expect to proceed.
  3. Collect it, yes, remind you that you have a bill to pay, no, that's a curtesy if they choose to provide it, not a requirement. JMHO
  4. The train sounds like a good, viable option for you. Yes, the west coast would be closer, but that becomes moot when you factor in the visit to your sister in St Louis.
  5. I agree with the other poster. The southern out of SHU was great. We were lucky enough to do it twice. Would love to see it come back. The ability to take bottles on board was a bonus.
  6. They didn't screw the customer, the customer screwed up and screwed themselves.
  7. It seems these days it often appears as there's no such thing as personal responsibility. It's always somebody else's fault.
  8. We're talking distilled water, not booze.
  9. Like I said, my sleep med is a controlled substance and I have no problem getting 90 days thru a major pharmacy and i live in FL. I guess YMMV.
  10. Why would you?? No need for it.
  11. Like AZjohn, I too live in FL and have no problem with my Doc or pharmacy in getting a 90 day supply of my sleep med.
  12. I would think you could contact Alamo with your rental number, and they could tell you if your reservation is still valid.
  13. Understand cruisemom's thinking and as much as I enjoy Neil deGrasse Tyson or Rick Steves I still would not pay for a lecture/seminar by either one.
  14. We have considered getting a cove in the future but after reading these posts about the salt issues, probably not. Also, not fond of the balcony rail type. Have had similar ones on ships in the past and didn't care for them.
  15. There is one FL Turnpike so no, all roads are not considered the FL Turnpike. Whether your I-pass will work on other tolls I don't know.
  16. Did you not see the April Fool's refence?
  17. Bingo, Haven't allowed bottled water for years now.
  18. I would take the Legend with that comparison. OV vs Balcony, no question.
  19. Carnival does not allow you to bring water on board.
  20. Whenever we've gone to a show it was first come, first serve.
  21. I've used a CPAP for over 15 years and plenty of cruises. The tap water on the ship is just fine (in some cases depending on treatment, it can be on par with distilled water), I've never had an issue with it. Yes, Carnival has distilled water for a fee. I've seen different prices reported but since I don't use it I'm not sure of the current cost. I figure, why pay for something that most of which will end up being poured down the drain at the end of the trip. I'm not dragging it home. JMHO/YMMV
  22. I know they have normal cans. Can't recall ever seeing a longneck bottle but have seen the tall aluminum bottles.
  23. That makes a lot more sense. Imagine a 15 year old getting a lifetime photo ID and using it when they are 70??😂🤣
