I think Royal Caribbean should be prioritizing immediately rebooking passengers who have been canceled, rather than treating them as second class citizens!!!

    shame on you Royal Caribbean!!

Even if Royal did prioritise rebooking passengers, who have had their cruises cancelled, who would Royal prioritise first: Those guests in suites; Guest in disabled cabins; Those who booked their cancelled cruise first and lets not forgot crown and anchor levels. Where would Pinnacles members using their free cruise voucher be placed in the rebooking list?

  2. I don't think some people have changed their attitudes. They just feel they can now voice their opinions without getting lynched or trolled.

I also think that the comments of some nurses on certain supermarket FB pages upset other posters. The nurses were complaining about the NHS discount being too low; having to queue to get in to the store even though it was 'NHS only hour' and they did not get the free bouquet of flowers for joining the supermarkets NHS scheme.

  3. Hi welcome to CC ( Cruise Critics).

Royal Caribbean have connecting rooms. These are the ones we have stayed in: Anthem Deck 8 8674(HC) & 8676; Explorer Deck 10 1544(HC) & 1540; Independence Deck 10 1628(HC) & 1630. I know that Adventure, Navigator and Oasis have them but I don't know the decks or cabin numbers. I think you just need to go through deck plans or ask a travel agent, as some agents have lists of accessible cabins.

I'm also thankful for the essential workers that have done their jobs so that we would have the things we need like food and medical supplies.

Thank you for mentioning other workers. In the UK it's always medical staff and teacher who get the praise. People seem to forget that supermarket workers and bus drivers etc never stopped working and they rarely get praised for risking their lives.

How do you define fit and healthy?  For example, are you aware that 40% of all people in the UK aged between 50 and 59 years are considered to have a "Pre-existing condition".  Should the deaths of those people not count?

I think you will find that compman9 means fit and healthy working age people with no pre-existing condition of any kind. I'm not sure if this includes people with disabilities like blindness etc.

  6. Manaus in Brazil may provide you with a reason to wear a mask after April.

It was thought that Manaus had already hit herd immunity in October 2020 but in January 2021 they had a massive second wave of Covid. This wave has left doctors questioning if natural herd immunity will work.

I don't believe that it has anything to do with their ability to consider the truth.  She is a prosecutor and he is a cop.  They regularly see and are exposed to the worst of society.  They just want money.  Their actions and behavior are inexcusable in my opinion.  And before some chooses to flame me about  me not knowing what that kind of trauma is like... you no nothing about my experiences. I know what extreme trauma and loss is.  Nobody is that irrational this long after the event when the evidence is this conclusive and they are paid to analyze and pass judgment on evidence.

Is it possible that they cannot afford to drop the law suit now?

Attended a 'family friendly' comedy show (on Princess) a few years ago and thought the guy was hilarious.  So went to his late night, adults only show, and he basically re-used the same jokes, throwing in the f-bomb and other colorful language...the adult version was so bad, ended up leaving early.

We had the same experience on RCI, once. We went to the adult show first, which was bad. The kid's version was a lot more funnier, even though he used the same jokes.

Saving EVERY life is impossible.  We want to save many lives as possible.  How?

    - Wear a mask when in public

    - Socially distance

    - Follow basic rules of cleanliness

    - avoid crowds

    - Listen to the scientists and experts

    - Take the vaccine when it is available

Nice list but some people believe the rules don't apply to them.

In the UK both  Rita Ora and Kay Burley have both hosted birthday parties which broke lockdown rules

Quite miraculous that they have delivered vaccines so quickly (under a year).  Cannot wait for my mom & dad to get the vaccine this winter (hopefully)  I'm a bit far down the totem pole for the vax but will gladly accept it once I am able.

In the UK the government is considering not vaccinating under 50's, with no underlying health problems. Do you know if the US is considering something similar?

I'm probably going to get flamed for this but just saw in the UK the first person to get vaccinated was a 91 year old woman.  Certainly don't wish her harm but I would think the first to be vaccinated should be health care works or even those over 60 that have a greater life span left (hopefully)

No flame from me either but the majority of older people who were vaccinated, on the 1st vaccination day, where already attending the hospital for other appointments.
