    I said nothing whatsoever about how many cruises went out of Ravenna. I was addressing your comment about "nobody wants to go to Ravenna in the first place" This is simply not true, as thousands of tourists visit Ravenna every year. Don't post sweeping generalizations if you don't want to be called out on them.

    Why? for the same reason some people complain from the moment they set foot on the ship. We see them every cruise, nothing is ever right, the food is never good, the service is always slow, and on and on and on.

    Only in your opinion Short term?? hardly, with a new cruise terminal being built and supposed to open next year Ravenna is definitely a long term solution. ROFL, you really need to get out more. Ravenna is the destination of thousands of tourists every year and has been for many years.

    Getting to and from Ravenna is easy if you do a little research. Simply not true. Radio Taxi Ravenna runs 24/7, all it takes is one phone call. and, just for info, there are approximately 80 taxis in Ravenna.

    Nope, the vast majority on our last Med cruise wore shorts. Nope, of all the churches we have visited in both countries exactly two did not allow shorts.

    Corfu and Argostoli have beaches within a short taxi ride from the port. Athens is a totally different story, the ship docks in Piraeus which is at least an hour away from Athens. Can't help with that port because we don't bother getting off.

    Not true, Radio Taxi Ravenna operates 24/7 365 days There are several taxi companies in Ravenna, and more have started since more cruises have started sailing from Ravenna Port

    we were on Explorer at the beginning of June and will be on again in August. There was nothing that was necessary to book except dining. Skating shows, slides, etc no booking needed although there may be lines for the slides they move fairly quickly.

    Heathrow is a nightmare for handicapped passengers! In spite of booking a wheelchair ahead of time I was told several times "sorry, not enough chairs available right now, please follow me" I can walk a short distance but not the distance they were asking for. I finally put my foot down and said NO, I booked a wheelchair so go find me a chair!

    Not really, check out Radio Taxi Ravenna, used them many times with no problems

    and ABTA is correct. 18 years living in the UK and traveling throughout Europe taught me that.

    This might be true for ports in the USA but I wouldn't recommend doing so in some European ports. Ravenna was enforcing check in times last month
