A bit late to the party (#92 here) but happy to see it has started! I wish I could have been on this cruise as originally planned, but I know I will have a great time from afar as well. Almost time to start shananaging!

I only know mine and the phone number that I grew up with at the family home. I don't even know my husband's number!

I have been in this category on the Bliss and on the Prima and am booked in one on the Viva. The second bedroom on the Bliss was not ideal. But it worked. The main bedroom was much more spacious but had only about a foot of space on the three sides that were not against the wall. The Viva bedrooms in the video are just like on the Prima. No way is either of them like a bat cave. The larger one has a wall of windows looking out on part of the balcony. Lots and lots of light. And Plenty of room on all sides of the bed, which is a major improvement from the same category on the Bliss. The second bedroom is not as large but still has plenty of room and gets the light from the balcony indirectly via the white wall which is a bit opaque. we didn’t and don’t care if the living room is smaller in order to enlarge the bedrooms. I do understand that people who like to dine in the living room might be a little disappointed because the table is fairly small. OK for two people but if you have a family or children or whatever you couldn't sit at that table to eat. I personally like the decor in the video. I don't like a lot of fancy stuff I like an open feel. That's just a personal preference. Honestly we don't spend that much time in the cabin so I don't really care.

Oh, ok. I was thinking you were closer to the cruise date. Honestly, I don’t remember how far out I was able to book it. 130 days is probably right. You will love that villa. I have done it twice, it’s just so peaceful there!

Yeah, I would start a thread asking fort a set of dailys 0r check out a few reviews. A lot of people post them. The hours are probably the same on all the ships.

To be safe, I would have your name match what is on your passport.

I would recommend to secure a Villa before you go. You can do that on the NCL website. Or you can wait and take your chances...When I was there last March there were only 2 empty. There was no pool last year--that's pretty cool that they have added that.

Yeah I was going but a bunch of bad things were happening/happened in my family and I just needed to cancel.

I say that about Mr. Greenpea all the time! It's HIS fault I buy the largest bottle of GG.

They no longer do towel animals unless you request one. That change happened more than a year ago and there were several threads about it on CC, My Steward on the Bliss last year did not, I said nothing because she worked so hard and was so sweet and caring I did not want to ask more of her. Then one day we were chatting about this and that and the subject somehow came up. Turns out she LOVES doing them! I said please do a few for us! She was so happy, lol. And they were great. Just ask.

I have never done that one, but we did the Salsa & Salsa excursion and it was great! So much fun, plus great eats. Highly recommend if that one is available your sailing.

It's March 2-9th. Not spring break. That's why it was the least expensive cruise in March!

Or the NCL Viva in March next year, since I am already booked on that!

I am not new ... but I guess I somehow missed that you may not cruise on Carnival again. I did not know. And of course now I want to know WHY, but I'm not asking here. I will need to do some research at our hangout place! Anyway, I hope it is a great cruise of you!

I coulda, woulda, shoulda been with you guys, but won't be. 😞 However, I will cruise vicariously through this (and any other) review! Have a WONDERFUL time you peeps. Do the rest of us proud. I want lots of shenanigans and embarrassing photos!

Not going to enter the fray as to if you should, but I did want to say that on the Bliss last year we ate dinner one night at Hudson's MDR. It was a wonderful meal and we wanted to go back a second time! We never did because of other plans, but it was really great. Loved Hudson's.

On our Bliss cruise last year, 16+ were allowed on the sundeck with the infinity pool.

I do wish they had changed the blowdryer location--just read a review that mirrored my own experience on the Prima. It's attached to the wall behind the sink, by the floor. You pull it out through the cabinet. I am 5'4" and had to bend over to get the air on my hair! Will be bringing my own on the Viva next year!
