  1. It also reserves the extra OBC that is attached to an on board booking.
  2. If booking a suite the $100 pp deposit does not apply, otherwise your deposit is $100 for the cruise you book.
  3. Possibly, but no guarantees. You would have to check once on board. The other option is to just book select dining and make your reservations as needed for your departure times.
  4. If like the Millennium, then reservations for anytime dining are for deck 4 only. Deck 5 is for fixed seatings only.
  5. Gee, maybe I should admonish my phone for not keeping up to date (time) during my cruise last month.
  6. Your phone connected to the ship wifi will not change the time. That is done with your carrier signal.
  7. ... but I am getting apprehensive with all the bad reviews. I have noted many of the bad reviews seem to come from people who think that every ship should be just like the newest one in the fleet at any given time. The ship may be cosmetically dated and without all the new specialty restaurants, but that doesn't mean the experience is not good. ..., to the creperie and pastries at Al Bacio, to the stunning art and glass everywhere, it was clearly a cut above. Sadly, the Creperie disappeared when the change was made from Bistro on 5 to Sushi on 5, but the rest is much the same. ... long waits at bars and restaurants, Yes there are waits sometimes, but it's when it's a popular time like when the show gets out, or the before dinner drink, which is exacerbated by no longer having the CC happy hours in the Sky Lounge. ...The one bright spot I keep reading about is the service and the efforts of the crew, for whom I have the utmost admiration and respect. It’s gotta be a very tough racket. This is absolutely correct. The staff are definitely doing their utmost. Is it all a bed of roses? By all means no, but certainly not as bad as the negative reviews make it seem. Go in knowing that there will be a few lacklustre experiences, and all will be good. Enjoy your cruise.
  8. Nice thought, but when would you propose the show for the late diners start? The current set-up was so that early diners go to the shows after dinner, and late diners would see the shows before their dining time and still have time to leisurely wander over to the dining room.
  9. Could be that, but my money says that marketing is involved and that means selling as many people as possible the "first passenger christening the room" opprtunity at "enhanced" rates.
  10. You really must want to see the F1 to spend that kind of money. For just a little more you could spend a week in the Retreat.
  11. An update to the app...hmmm...putting lipstick on a pig.😂
  12. I'm fairly certain that Murano does not exist in any M class ship.
  13. Reservations are not required. Show up at your desired time and get seated. Depending on the table size requested there may be a short wait, especially at peak dining times if it is a full sailing.
  14. Not just the suites. I just spent 3 weeks in a standard veranda on the Millennium. There were also a couple of USB at the desk wall outlet.
  15. My personal preference is always decks 7 to 10 as they have cabins above and below.
  16. On the revolutionized M class there is a 120v outlet and usb outlets on the nightstand.
  17. This was not the case on the April 21 and May 6 sailings on the Millennium.. We had the full classic dessert menu.
  18. There is both a North American 120v outlet and a European 220v outlet in each cabin.
  19. You are correct. I neglected to mention the booking date.
  20. Simply stated, NRD are now truly that. Cancel your cruise and you will forfeit your deposit completely.
  21. Oops. The original (cancelled by Celebrity) was even better. It went the other way and had a stop in Cabo as well.
  22. Just got off the Millennium 15 day Panama with 9 sea days and 5 ports. 10 sea days if you count the crossing day.
  23. It can be a little breezy and chilly. This was leaving San Francisco. Note the jackets...
  24. We just came back from the westbound transit and my significant other loved it so much she is starting to plan another. i also did this in "07 on the Summit and my late DW loved it also.
