I think part of our issue was due to covid some flights were being completely cancelled and I also think there may have been an end to a codeshare agreement between Delta (which Flights by Celebrity works with) and Westjet (Canadian Company) so when the codeshare ended Delat couldn't use those flights anymore.

FYI, the codeshare is still active with Westjet/Delta.

Do you have to print out the results or can you just show on your phone?

You certainly can show your phone. While devices are generally reliable, there is always the chance that just at the most inopportune moment that device will crater. Always best to have a hard copy for backup. YMMV.

I'll check with my junket rep on Monday, but was wondering if anyone can tell from this if my reservation has Always Included on it based on the list of charges?  Each line has a charge and then a negative charge on the next line.  For example, Gratuities is $112 and then TCIB-GRAT C/A 7N  is -$112.  TCS3SURFCHG 7 is $105 and TCS4SURFSAV 7 is $-105.  It's not a big deal either way as we typically only drink in the casino and those are free anyway, but I'm just curious because we will need WiFi for some unavoidable work during the week.  Trying to figure out if the regular internet package is included.

The deduction is to show that your extras are "free", as in All Included.

We booked this specific cabin 7166 back in January 2020

Our TA had been told that this had been mandated as a quarantine cabin . They have moved us to a regular balcony cabin on the same deck and $200 obc - we already have premium drinks etc and $450 obc so not happy with that as a solution 😞

Fingers crossed. I am booked in 7166 for the upcoming Christmas cruise.

Just off Constellation on Monday.  Testing for forward travel was being done on the pier at the passengers expense (I don't know what the charge was).

The change was made recently.   If you test positive you are no longer Celebrity's problem and don't count against the ships numbers.

If the booking was made prior to Nov 16/21 then there is no charge.

We are planning to take our pre-return (to Canada) COVID test using the Switch RT-Lamp kit late on Day 5 of our 7 day cruise.

    Two questions:

    1. During the test we need to be a on video call with a test administrator.  Am I correct to assume Xcelerate Stream is a sufficient connection?

    2. Can you pay for only one day of Xcelerate Stream or do I need to pay for day 5-7?

Just to throw a wrench in your plan, I do not believe the kits are PCR tests. The rapid antigen tests do not qualify - at this time.

  7. Depending on the fare type and when you booked, Celebrity does charge a $100 fee for ship or date change. Since it is only a re-fare there should not be one. If one does apply, it is spelled out on the Guest Invoice that is sent to you. BTDT.

What happened to How are Things Where You Are?

I liked to find out how Covid was in different areas.

    Why was it eliminated?

    Did I miss something awful?

Most threads that remotely mentioned covid devolved into an us vs. them scenario. Moderators have removed any that did or were likely to.

Does anyone who has been on the Equinox recently have any knowledge of them changing their masking policy and/or if they will continue at reduced capacity after the New Year?

Unfortunately in these uncertain times any current or past practices are subject to change on a moments notice. No one short of Celebrity themselves would be able to give an accurate answer, and even what they tell you today may not be correct tomorrow.

We are looking at a repositioning cruise that has a port call in Spain and then continues to Italy.  Has anyone had experience getting off at an earlier port than the cruise termination port?  Price reduction??

No longer an option on Royal, so I suspect that will also extend to Celebrity as well. It spells out "pre-planned" early departure, so it may still allow it if requested on board.

Sorry, I can't get the insert link to work, so you will have to copy and paste...

So I booked a SS on Edge for just myself in March and ow someone wants to go with me. I'm wondering what this is going to do to my price because I booked during a good sale. I cannot price the same cabin now because the only suites available are CS and above. Anyone have this happen before? Do they honor my original price or start over?

I just did this a few months ago. Since my fare was double as a solo, the only fare change was the port fees and taxes for the second guest. Then an additional deposit was required for the additional passenger.
