  1. It really doesn't matter. Other than the canal crossing you will be too far out at sea for it to make a difference. In the canal you will most likely be out on deck somewhere.
  2. I have just done this. They refer to it as a "consecutive cruise" discount. Applicable to same ship or different ship. We got ours for Silhouette/Beyond/Beyond for all three legs.
  3. The new locks actually use about 8% less water than the historic locks due to water recycling https://www.britannica.com/topic/Panama-Canal/Locks "The basins were completed in June 2016 and include 158 valves consisting of 20,000 tons of structural material. Officials say those water-saving basins are the largest in the world and facilitate a 60 percent reuse of water. Whereas the existing locks use 52 million gallons (197 million litres) with each use, the new locks use 48 million gallons (182 million litres)".
  4. A thread from last September... https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2964365-virgin-fires-a-shot-across-celebrity’s-bow/#comment-66127948
  5. If you have a lot of late port days/excursions you may want to consider late or Any time dining. If you have early dining and are returning to the ship late then you will be dining in the buffet.
  6. It clearly says Dec 8, 2022. Odds are if you called them you had an issue. Did you? I would remember if I called them to fix something. In any case, asking for feedback a year after the fact is certainly not timely.
  7. If you are late you may well lose the trip. The charge to your card does not instantly go to your account. It will go into "pending" for a day or two before it is posted to the account. I assume you are trying to get it onto the next billing cycle.
  8. Sorry. I guess I should have prefaced with "outdoor".
  9. But....were those things always like that or were they removed from your access as were the outside areas? Hot and windy or not, that was the quiet go-to spot for me.
  10. It annoyed me that the whole front viewing area on the Millennium was off limits and barely used.
  11. Subsitute Princess and you have my feelings.
  12. This has been so since at least last April.
  13. We had this done in May on the Millennium. Guest Services did it in a spot that doesn't affect the card.
  14. Based on sales of the Retreat staterooms at the ridiculous pricing now in effect...
  15. And generally that also means bed by balcony if no square. Sofa sleepers are by the balcony.
  16. I suspect it is confusion with Crown and Anchor which is 1 point per night and double for solo.
  17. Solo concierge for 12 nights will get you 120 points.
  18. Probably mostly those that book three or four excursions for the same time and then wait to chose which one they really want to go on. Now they will have to decide two days out instead of one.
  19. That;s a year old page. Certainly no more AI as described anymore.
  20. You do not need a refundable rate to refare as long as you keep the same ship/sail date. You just need to bear in mind that the new fare will be with the then prevailing offers, so it may not be an advantage to do so.
  21. They don't control those rates. That is all on your financial institution. From Celebrity's side they do all transactions in USD, whether charge or refund, and any discrepancy is caused by the exchange rates set by your bank. That said, because the charge was in error, I think Celebrity should be responsible to pay the difference.
  22. It says per guest for the upgrade, so 2 devices is correct.
