  1. You only get basic with AI, so an upgrade is available. Separate purchases are premium only.
  2. If you had gratuities included in your original fare, you will lose that if you reprice your cruise, plain and simple. The new pricing is at the prevailing rates and inclusions. The new "lower" fare may not be to your advantage if you lose the existing benefits.
  3. The extra discount is not linear. There is a larger discount for the fare of passengers 3 and 4.
  4. I have seen the price as the cruise only as the default for a long time on the Canadian site.
  5. Your OBC is added to your folio at the beginning of the cruise and your gratuities will be deducted from your account daily. Your credits are not there for any specific use, it is only a $ value credit on your account. All purchases and daily gratuities are added to your account as you spend on board. If you run out of OBC it just adds to your account to be paid at the end of the cruise.
  6. The pricing structure isn't always in your favour for a sale. Of my 3 booked cruises only one went lower. The other two were up considerably. and all 3 were booked at the same time. You can adjust whether refundable or not. I just did it just two days ago when the price for mine dropped.
  7. They just don't have the same markup on NA beverages as they do on alcohol. The minimum markup must be met for the bean counters.
  8. When asked if you can make an (insert time here) AM flight, so many say "sure, no problem". The point is that the majority of time it can work out, but the reality is there is always the chance of a weather, mechanical, port, etc related issue. This is why people point it out and caution doing so if you don't have a plan B.
  9. There is no drink machine. You get a can at any bar or in the OV Cafe. Not sure on pricing though.
  10. There is a big box TA that is part of a store that sells $1.50 hot dogs. They also have a very busy gas bar.
  11. You are a negative Nellie, bringing up the good old days...🤣😎
  12. Their "sales" tend to be a shell game. You would be better off finding a fare you are comfortable with and booking now, as the stateroom choices will likely be better. If prices go down you can refare at the then current rates and perks if it works in your favour.
  13. When you book you get your guest invoice. On page 3 or 4 it is noted in bold that you must ensure you have proper documents for your cruise. Unless you booked last minute there are at least 3 months up to a couple of years to get organized. Blame does not fall on Celebrity. They gave ample warning.
  14. The original question was referring to Elite and Elite+ not suites.
  15. Suite priority is really only relevant when checkin first opens. They still have a waiting lounge for use until boarding begins, After that it's just walk on board as you get there..
  16. Just open three windows simultaneously and check the cabins side by side.
  17. Priority boarding went away with the introduction of assigned check-in times. Except for the initial rush, you will just get there, check in and be on your way to the gangway.
  18. Methinks this is a little outdated CelebrityCenturymenus(October1998)-1.pdf
  19. I made some comments about the desserts back in 2017 about the lack of taste and the lack of consistency between ships. Most notably a "chiffon" cake that was excellent on the Eclipse (light and airy) and horrendous on the Equinox (dense and flavourless). Corporate apologized profusely and added a small OBC to my next cruise. I think a lot of it had to do with the use of prepackaged cake mixes vs made from scratch. Most of the cakes seem to use the same base with only the decorating differing, so they all taste the same.
