  1. No, your traveling companion doesn't get and benefits that comes with whatever Blue Chip Club tier level that you are at.
  2. Cruising on Royal will not cause your husband to lose his Celebrity Blue Chip Club complementary offers. If he gambles enough on the Royal cruise he'll get offers from Royal's Casino Royale program. If he makes the minimum points in the cruise he'll receive a free cruise certificate before the end of the cruise.
  3. On embarkation one of the main dining room reservation desk will be open to make dinner reservations and/or adjustments. It may vary with each sailing and each ship;I checked the daily planner for embarkation day for several different E-Class sailings and it isn't mentioned in the planner. You just have to go to see which one of the four dining room reservation desk is manned for dinner reservation adjustments.
  4. I'm not sure what you're referring to but NONE of the E-class ships have a central Dining Reservations desks for the MDRs. Each of the four dining rooms has their own reception desk and when open each is staffed. ALL Edge Class ships have the same arrangement.
  5. The OP is staying in an Oceanview. A standard Oceanview cabin on all Celebrity ships have UNBRANDED Toiletries which aren't made by Bigelow.
  6. Hand soap for the lavatories in the cabin are bar soap. Bodywash for shower. You can ask for as many bars of soap as you need.
  7. You're American and don't know what a Polo shirt is? https://www.ralphlauren.com/men-clothing-polo-shirts
  8. Well I guess that explains why last month on the Ascent the lunch was so crowded. Luckily we were on line early enough and was within the first 40 people to enter the dining room. When we finished and walked out of the dining room the line was crazy long. Honestly I wouldn't wait on that line. Edit: NCL opens a MDR for all guests on embarkation day for lunch. Celebrity should do the same.
  9. All the cruises we've been on since turning diamond have had both the party and the luncheon.
  10. It's been well established that there only 3 instances where there an embarkation lunch, Concierge Class cabins, B2B, and Zenith.
  11. Are you referring to the diamond special meal? Are you saying on some ships it's a Diamond dinner? I'm not understanding what you're referring to in that particular response.
  12. Although it's unlimited drinks from 5-7pm it doesn't apply to all drinks which on Royal it does. There's a specific menu with the types of wines, alcohol, beers, and non alcoholic drinks that you can get during the HH. Unlike Royal, you cannot get something that's not on the list and pay the difference. So for example, there are no frozen drinks that's part of the HH ( so no frozen Pina colada).
  13. The luncheon is for those that booked a Concierge Class class cabin and has nothing to do with your Captains Club status.
  14. No, it's not there, I posted what's on the MDR menu RIGHT NOW on the Celebration.
  15. This is what we had TODAY as the Diamond Lunch menu. The steak is also pictured.
  16. If that's what you meant then you should have been more specific in you initial question. What your looking for isn't available. What's been posted here is what's available now. I'm literally typing this while waiting on the Celebration for the first Elegant Night.
  17. I'm on the Celebration right now. There's a section of the MDR menu entrees called Every Day. On it is a grilled chicken breast and a broiled strip loin steak. It's the same two choices every night, it doesn't change. So the broiled strip loin streak is available every night as a choice on your cruise.
  18. No. None of the E-Class ships have a complementary sauna. Only M & S class ships have complementary single sex saunas.
  19. I think you're reading too much into what's being written and in all honesty absolutely nothing has changed on Celebrity with regards to dress code for the evening. In practice a polo-type shirt for men is 100% acceptable for all dinners including Evening Chic. If a man wants to wear a long sleeve button shirt on Chic Night to be a little dressier that's fine, but in practice it's not necessary or required, and no one is going to be denied entry into the dining room for wearing a short sleeve Polo shirt on Chic Night. They also will not be out of place either. So honestly that's how I would advise others. I was on the flagship Ascent in January and if nothing's changed on the flagship less than 2 months ago in terms of the printed dress code and more importantly the dress code the full ship of passengers adhered to then that's what the dress code is.
