I am seeing 20% off Classic and Premium and Classic to Premium Upgrade at $13.99 (5% off) for that cruise.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I know it shows up normally in the Cruise Planner (prices have varied). I'm just intrigued by the bizarre email "offer" linking to where it says sold out, and wondering if anyone  has ever even seen packages sold out.

Not much value in saying here, oops, not here.

  2. I just rec'd an email telling me the drink packages for my Feb 3 Reflection are now available "at cheaper prices." Skeptical as always, I clicked on the 3 links. The descriptions just have the usual 15% discount, but both the Premium and Classic packages are labelled "SOLD OUT".  Non-alc is available.

I have never seen that before. But it sure seems funny to send out a solicitation for something you don't have available!

Another Celeb snafu in marketing and IT?

I can't drink it, even a couple of sips of wine causes me to have a reaction, but a friend loves it.

My wife and I fell in love with Scotch and bourbon right before she had to give up alcohol due to a heart issue in 2019 after our St Maarten cruise. Now she just takes a drop on her tongue and enjoys the aroma. I admire her dedication, and yours! Thanks

Thanks for all the helpful suggestions.

None worked.  My DH called Celebrity and they were able to assist him to sign in under his name.  My login wouldn't take it.

Did you try using a computer, or the desktop version of the Celeb web site? I had the same problem on the app, but was able to check  in on my PC by accessing the menu under "Manage Your Cruise."

This is the 3rd thread on this topic in the past few months!

It means you are currently confirmed for Celebrity Select dining - and on a waitlist for 6pm sitting.

@Alakegirl I don't think this advice is correct. We have had early dining for our upcoming Feb 3 since we booked in July 2022, and our confirms show  "Dining: 6:00 ()". Elsewhere in managing our cruise, it just says "Early dining (6:00)."

But in the app, it has something similar to yours:

Finally, our cruise docs simply show 6:00 pm in the dining box.

I think it is just another Celebrity IT issue where they have not properly edited database fields or headings.

If you call and find out differently, please update!

I think if everybody took the same precautions independent of the illness, we would all be in a better place.

If I am sick, I self isolate.

I hae had winter colds that go for about 10 days almost every year since college in the 70's. I credit Covid and isolation/caution (by me and others) for not having a cold in 2020, '21, and '22. But this winter...sniffle, snort, cough, sneeze. Back to normal has its drawbacks!

😁 WOW, you sound like a member of the SCA!  😉

Might have joined if I liked turkey legs, tankards, and women in pointy hats with ribbons!

I cringe when I hear people say " Where is it at".  You don't end a sentence with a preposition and yet EVERYONE( except me) does it.   Newscasters do it, actors do it.  It seems no one knows this grammar rule.

I'm glad my use of "up" at the end of my post did not violate the rule I learned as "A preposition is a bad thing to end a sentence with."

I did, however, just do 20 minutes of research to allay my fear. If you want to go down a rabbit hole, look up the (dozens of) rules for when "up" is a preposition, adjective, or adverb. Yikes!

By the way the english language sucks and should be banned lol. Even growing up with it nobody knows all of the stupid little rules.

Since most Americans aren't multilingual, it would sure be quiet around here!

  10. I have heard many navy people using "the" when referring to a ship in casual usage. I don't use the formal title when referring to Prince William, either. Do we care if someone says Central Park is in Manhattan rather than the Borough of Manhattan?

Trying to change commom usage is like trying to stop wind by holding your hands up!

I’ve had that happen. Your promos dropped off. You can have them restored and it will fix the cost.

OP can't,  and has to rely on the clue-less TA to get it resolved.

I can't imagine booking anything related to travel without a confirmation from the actual hotel/airline/cruiseline/railroad....

But my wife and I had bad experiences with TAs early on while working ("lowest-cost vendor for the gov't") so I learned to handle everything myself. As @hcat posted, a lot more reliable (and not that hard if you can handle some delays on the phone).

Second thread this week about an unreliable TA. SMH

I don't understand why people are looking for reasons why this is not wrong.  Why mention that his daughter is adopted from China, Korea or ...  She might have been adopted from the US.

There seems to be a growing trend toward making innocent people prove they aren't doing anything wrong. It is scary how many people seem to think that the OP should have had to give a lengthy explanation and essentially justify having the gall to travel as a biracial family without preparing to meet absurd challenges. America really shouldn't be that way.
