  1. Not quite. If the carrier supports WiFi calling AND texting (many do) you CAN receive SMS texts over WiFi. Android phones - https://blog.rottenwifi.com/android-text-over-wifi/ iPhone - https://www.howtogeek.com/229216/how-to-enable-and-use-wi-fi-calling-on-an-iphone/
  2. This definitely has me interested! I have the coupons. That Southbound Jewel in September, an inside room looks very enticing. $300 to get on board (using a CND as well as the 50% off), plus airfare to get there and home ($570 if I use NCL's airfare offer). That itinerary looks like a good one, too...
  3. No email, it just appeared on my account I reach Gold status on my cruise in 3 weeks so definitely not for higher tiers 50% off the cruise, I was just using inside as that's what I would be shopping..
  4. They're added to Latitudes accounts (I have those offers). You book the cruise at the price on the website, then apply it during the payment process. I was looking - I could book an inside room with no perks on the Jewel in September for under $200 plus taxes and fees. Oceanview (no perks) is under $300 for the same trip. And that looks like a great itinerary!
  5. oops, you're probably right, but it still has the OP after final payment...
  6. Final payment is 180 days before the cruise, the OP is on a May cruise. No, they aren't outside final payment.
  7. Even if you do it will. I did my check-in for my cruise last year while I was at work, had a co-worker take a picture using my phone and a plain background and they STILL wanted a new picture when I checked in at the port. A picture is required during online check-in, I did it last night. The picture I uploaded probably won't be good enough though and they'll want to re-do it at the port, not a big deal...
  8. I'm aware, and you pointed it out earlier in the thread but the person I quoted kept spouting the same "well, it's unwritten and some servers will try to convince you there is a limit" even though it's now in writing and shown earlier in the thread...
  9. Did you READ earlier in the thread? It's actually written ON NCL's site now that the SDP only includes 1/1/1/1. Was that the same as before or has that changed and you actually are limited now?
  10. I'm not sure what the push to get a non-connecting cabin is. I was in a connecting Studio on the Bliss and had no issues with it. Of more concern to me (which it turns out I had on that cruise and I now make sure to do it if I book a Studio) is being near the middle of the hall (as far from the doors to the Studio area as I can be) and not bordering the public hallway. Why? Some people have no consideration for letting those doors close gently, and on that cruise there were some crew members using it as a pass-through late at night even though they weren't supposed to. It didn't bother ME, but those near the doors complained.
  11. I believe this is still valid, for someone with a North America-based booking. OP has a UK or Europe-based booking which has different rules for price adjustments.
  12. I'm not one that chases rewards levels, but I managed 21 points on my cruise last year (same offer I guess) and I'll be getting 21 more points next month as I have the offer for my upcoming cruise. I'm 4 from Gold so I'll get more than half the points needed to get from Gold to Platinum. So, even though I don't chase rewards levels, these recent promos have me doing just that after just 3 cruises with NCL...
  13. On my 3 NCL cruises so far (including two on the Bliss which I see is your single NCL experience) I have never waited more than about 10 or 15 minutes for a table, if even that long. for the OP - if you don't mind not having a balcony and will have one person in a room, look at the Breakaway and Breakaway+ class ships (Breakaway, Getaway, Bliss, Escape, Encore) or the Prima class ships. Those have Studio cabins that can be had for less as there's no solo supplement to be paid. I've stayed in one on the Bliss and will be in one on the Escape in a couple weeks.
  14. I was in 14252 last year, the bed was by the balcony and on the right as you walk in from the hall.
  15. This would be good to add to this thread - Or maybe a host can merge it?
  16. I understand that. However those certificates are the only place, recently, where specialty dining 'credit' was restricted to certain venues, which I was pointing out. I wasn't saying they are currently restricted.
  17. Those are the Platinum certificates. Specialty dining as part of the Free At Sea (what the topic was asking about) are valid at ALL specialty venues.
  18. There are many reports of this changing, including a link to the NCL page (posted by a knowledgeable member) where this policy is actually now in writing - That said - I can pack food away but have never left hungry when limiting to 1/1/1/1. Shoot - I left food on my plate at Cagney's last year!!!
  19. That question is answered in the promo terms & conditions - https://www.ncl.com/about/terms-and-conditions/promotions Airline-imposed personal charges such as baggage fees are not included and are paid directly to the airline
  20. Interesting - when I sailed on the Bliss in 2019 with a tender stop in Cabo I was able to order my tender ticket on embarkation day using the touchscreens in the stair lobby, Cabo was the last port of call with two sea days before returning to LA.
  21. I'm not sure who it was or what thread it was in but I seem to recall someone posting recently about cancelling something and having trouble getting their money back because the card used for that payment had been closed out. Different banks my handle the situation differently.
  22. It would be even better if the list were searchable!!
  23. Yes, they should be. Before final payment you should be refunded 100% (covered in the "fine print" you agreed to when you booked) Refunds go to the original form of payment (also covered in the "fine print") 120 days before the cruise is when you can first book dining. Don't worry TOO much if your venue doesn't have tables at the time you want, only a portion are opened for pre-cruise reservation
  24. Sign in to the website, click on My Account in the top right and then My Account and it should show in coupons and credits. No need to do a mock booking to the point of payment to see them as suggested by @LloydJr
