  1. For what it's worth - if I'm flying with a connecting flight I will try to pack a change of clothes in my carry-on. Even on a direct flight (which I'm planning for my next cruise) I might do that, but more so I don't have to sift through my main bag in the hotel for clothes to board the ship the day after I fly.
  2. If you can avoid using the internet on day 1, upgrade to unlimited on day 2 and "trade in" the free minutes you got as credit toward that package. The "trade in" is offered when you go to activate the free minutes. I think the net is around $70 if you do it this way (there's a thread on this somewhere in this forum but I'm sure it's now buried).
  3. I found a few YouTube videos of the area through a google search, have you viewed those? Here's one -
  4. The "upgrade" items are if you're buying it to add on or upgrade the FAS item that you're already getting. The other is if you were just going to buy it outright.
  5. Didn't someone say there's a water bottle filling station in the gym on some ships?
  6. Sailing after January 1, 2023? It says right on the drink package info page that the six 1L bottles of FLOW water are delivered to your room on embarkation day. • (6) 1L Flow Water bottles delivered to your stateroom on embarkation day* Right from the horse's mouth, so to speak - https://www.ncl.com/onboard-packages/beverage-packages Yes, they should be the same. In the "original" listing it seems this is the only water offered by FLOW.
  7. True, the Bliss (and Encore) were built FOR Alaska with the gorgeous OL taking up 1/3 of deck 15.
  8. It used to be that the primary carriers were Delta, American and United. Some have reported that other carriers have been used (I think I've seen JetBlue and Spirit mentioned) but I haven't seen Southwest in the other threads.
  9. You can re-price all you want, BEFORE final payment. The one adjustment limit is AFTER final payment. Just be aware that if any of the perks change between when you booked and when you re-price you will then get the new perks and give up what you had at the time you booked initially.
  10. Here's the catch - the previous "sale" was 50% off. That was replaced with second guest free. Same deal, different name if you're only booking 2 people.
  11. Alaska is the Bliss, Spirit, Sun Jewel, or Encore. Bliss and Encore have the Studio cabins, but more important would be the itinerary. The smaller ships might have some stops that the Bliss and Encore can't reach.
  12. The cruise I have booked hasn't changed a penny. Sailing as a solo, this promo does ZERO for me...
  13. The OP has duplicate threads going, the other one has several more replies, I suggest visiting that one -
  14. No, you don't HAVE to reserve 4 months out. NCL opens only about 30% of the available space for pre-cruise booking so if you don't do it ASAP you MAY be frustrated that you can't book the day/time you want. The rest is available on embarkation day - visit, I believe, Teppanyaki on the Breakaway ships, as soon as you board to make reservations, or you can try using the app on your phone once you're connected to the ship's WiFi (no need to use internet package for that), or you can use the touchscreens in the stair lobbies (2 on each deck at each end of the ship on the BA and BA+ ships) to make those reservations.
  15. One caveat - some venues will have items that have an up-charge, even on the dining package. Crabcake in Cagney's is one item... There is a TON of discussion in this forum regarding specialty dining and what you do or don't get.
  16. https://www.ncl.com/about/terms-and-conditions/promotions covers the details for this and other promotions. Note that the restriction is on the entree, no restriction on apps and desserts. Some venues have items that have an additional charge, even with the dining credit.
  17. Yes. You should be able to book tenders for your entire cabin with one card from that cabin.
  18. I'm 42, so not far off from me. Hey @debenson0723 somehow I forgot about our OL conversation then breakfast as we sailed into SF! That was such a fun trip for my first solo cruise!
  19. The Bliss runs at least two tender platforms. As soon as you board, go to one of the touchscreens in the stair lobby (there are two screens in each lobby on each deck) and order your tender tickets for the earliest available time. I seem to recall making an 8 AM tour that was not arranged through the ship. I took a picture from my room at 6:33 AM, I was on shore by 7:40 AM (time was from my phone, which had connected to the Cabo cellular network so it should be accurate). Something to keep in mind with my times - we were the first ship in port, ALL of the port tenders were running our ship so things were moving FAST. An 11 AM arrival would mean your ship won't get the same service.
  20. On my last cruise I struck up a conversation with a woman and her two adult nieces in the embarkation lounge. After running into each other several times in the first 12 hours on board, they invited me to hang with them the rest of the cruise. We had an amazing time.
  21. We are, and technically the US has the same policy.
  22. I wonder if you can have NCL book your return flight to a different airport than you left from. That would avoid all of the confusion. That request would need to be made prior to 75 days before departure though.
  23. No. Recent reports are that it seems booking duplicate visits to the same venue are not working with the online booking system. Try calling to book if you want to visit a venue more than once.
  24. Food I get, don't want to be bringing fruits that MAY contain critters (gosh, I hope not but this is why) that don't belong in that region off the ship. Beverages - taking them off should be ENCOURAGED, to reduce risk of dehydration in port. Haven't been questioned about taking bottles of water off the ship, even refillable bottles that have no factory seal.
  25. which seems to be exactly what @genian_travels described in their post earlier in the thread, just a couple before your post...
