Others traveling with us both use one as well (just me here), they do what you do but ALSO have a small power strip to allow 2 plugs to power two devices (cannot have surge protection).

I also bring a small roll of duck tape (dollar store variety). Depending on the room layout, it saves in the accident potential area (taping cord down in the traffic area).

A 12 ft (does not have to be heavy duty) would work, 15 ft optimal.

Just trying to understand your comments about suites on Celebrity. You are saying of posters here at CC, the majority are suite guests?

I have stayed in Havana area 8 times, and other than when first announced (and kids other guests were allowed in the area in the evening) I have never seen kids in this area.

Carnival has sailed over half a dozen cruise ships out of NY seasonally. At least three times they have had ships sail year round. While NCL and Royal are more….dedicated (shall we say), Carnival concentrates more on breadth of home ports as opposed to dedicated ships. The ports are limited for colder months (cannot go north, Bermuda is out, cold days of travel south (at least two each way), rough seas, etc, etc.. Way more lines follow this plan as opposed to year round.

Part of what makes NY so unique is the multi faceted culture aspect to the city. Is cruising from there the same as cruising from Long Beach or Jacksonville (in terms of culture and the way people act getting on, during the cruise and getting off? No way. Not worse, not better, just different.

The hub app allows you to manage all of this, from checking in if you have MTD, to specialty dining. The shows are mostly done around the two set dining times, early shows for late dining and late show for early dining. That said, there are some that are unique.
