  1. Number one - New York. Easily the most iconic sail away out there. Number two - Miami. Sailing out the there is what cruising is all about. Number three - Galveston. Simply a one of a kind, unlike any other. Number four - San Juan. Sailing out in into this port is always amazing. Wish they still sailed from there. Number five - Tie between Tampa and Vancouver. Again wish they still sailed from there (Vancouver). Made me ruminate on how many home ports we have sailed out of (All lines). NYC, (Manhatten, Brooklyn, Jersey),Boston, Baltimore, Miami, Port Canaveral, Galveston, New Orleans, Tampa, San Juan, Long Beach, Dover, Rome, Venice, Copenhagen and Barcelona. Sailed on the Pride out of an amazing 6 home ports, Baltimore, PC, Long Beach, Tampa, Dover and Rome.
  2. I find the entire discussion to be very interesting.
  3. I can imagine that adding 3 different items really slows down the process……not. Fairly disappointing.
  4. Don't really have a horse in this race. The point is that options are what they are. If nobody takes them up they will reprice or other options will arise. The technology is clearly evolving faster and faster, which connotes to cheaper and cheaper.
  5. I was not questioning your assessment of the plan (really depends on the need, we could debate that but not an issue per se), more the word chosen to describe the view.
  6. If you would want it for more than a couple days, def worth the whole cruise rate. There are significant upgrades and enhancements coming down the road in this area.
  7. Unless you track them from whence they came. It is all perception, just like the perception that it makes a difference.
  8. I am not sure I would take any solace in where the workers come from. We have seen with picking and dropping our grandkids off it is a mix of nationalities. That said, never had any issues at all.
  9. Which sandals, which room, what dates….. which cruise, which city which date….we can go on and on. I book sandals a lot, I am comfortable with the logic…and my post. We can move on…I think you were booking Sandals for your next cruise….did not mean to interrupt.
