  1. Hahahaha. The obvious question is, how do you know what dirt tastes like….?😆😉
  2. TA’s have direct connect availability as well.
  3. Starlink (Musk’s satellite option) is a deal changer. SIGNIFICANT enhancement and I am sure they are dialing the speed down (cost cutting measure). Like everything else, it is an option. For us, who need wifi for our travel business, it is huge.
  4. That most certainly is the way it works…for all options.
  5. And drinks….and no gratuities……and free gambling……and no charge for excursions….and free pictures……
  6. Everything is relative. Options are always a good thing.
  7. It is def an increase, just booked for our 4 Carnival cruises pending.
  8. Certainly has been upgraded, whether it is Starlink has not been confirmed that I can see. There were other options they were deploying, fro what I have read.
  9. Well I certainly was not trying to confuse you. Did I say I did not want to read anything?
  10. What is that song from the Disney movie Frozen……cannot remember.
  11. Their ships, their rules, end of discussion, easy peasy. The rest ia all just fodder. Do not like it, go sail elsewhere.
  12. Perspective is everything. Cruising is evolving. These behemoths (RCCL Icon of the seas) cost 2 BILLION dollars. Got to sell a whole bunch of rooms to make that work out.
  13. Good for all of you, enjoy. How amny cabins are there?
  14. Guess I missed that left turn….thanks
  15. Used to be there was far fewer 20 year old Carnival ships. At some point (and we love them) it becomes lipstick on a pig, there is only so much you can do with something running 24/52/365 year after year after year. Lastly, when they were 28Bill in the hole from being shut down (not of their own accord) for 19 months, the reality is the reality, you have to pay the piper at some time.
  16. Great meal, either way. For us, way to much to have for lunch.
  17. There is nothing wrong with a smaller more intimate cruise experience, we prefer it also. All that said, the message is clear from ALL the lines. The economies make the large mega ships the ONLY way they will be going forward. One only needs to look at the newest of new, biggest in the entire world RCCL Icon of the Seas to see where it is all leading. That said, there are other options, on all lines, just most will not be NEW ships. We have recently sailed Carnival in Europe and Canada (supposed to be Greenland, but that is another story) on 20 year old Spirit class ships that are 87K tons and 2500 people. Of course there are other much smaller options that come with a price, Azamara jumps to mind with 600 passengers. It is all about options and options are good, although getting smaller on one side of the coin.
  18. I believe you… the drain talking kind of sounds like a Stephen King novel….
  19. Not sure how we get to power strips, but if it has a surge suppresser on it, it cannot be used. It has to due with the way the ships are wired. Has nothing to do with how they can be used on land.
  20. There is simply no valid reason I can think of for it not working well. That said, it may require some “tweaking” (IMHO), but you do not know if the Pasta is done until you throw it up against the wall.
