  1. wow, other than all of these, how was your cruise?
  2. I def will do one and will post a link here. My better half won out on this trip. The other consideration was a Patagonia cruise that sailed from Buenes Aires to Santiago Chile.
  3. I agree, the dining team on this ship was totally in sync. They seemed the most comfortable I think we have ever seen. Not sure why, but assume it is good mgt.
  4. Thanks, while it was one hectic day, the trip was fantastic. I would sign up for it again even if I knew the same thing was going to happen. As it turned out, our least favorite port was Stockholm, so missing Gothensburg seemed OK. Currently in heated discussion about doing another one next year. We have traveled a lot (have Legend Greenland coming up next month, then land trip to Portugal, France and Spain in October, then Horizon in November, the Celebrity Antartica in January, the Celebration in Feb, and again in August and Holy Land trip in October) and by better half wants to take a break. My head is still in catch up mode for losing 19 months…. We will see who wins.
  5. It doesn’t. The point is that the money goes to the crew. Period. Anything else is smoke and mirror or semantics.
  6. Lots or things magically disappear when you are forced to shut down for 19 months
  7. It was a short review (compared to my others) but it was a short cruise.
  8. or maybe they are trying to improve the experience for their customers....which could it be, which could it be? 😅
  9. I get it. I was really just referring to how they do embarkation, could have been clearer…my bad. I think that process will be beeter with the new “way”
  10. You are correct, we have done it both ways,
  11. Wow, you have found the secret…. Wait, it has only put on here 2000 times. This has been rehashed just as many times. There is absolutely no proof of anything other than what Carnival tells us….it goes to the people they say it does.
  12. Huh, wish we had hooked up, we had an ex Navy chief sailing with us.
  13. Our first room was twins but there were 4 of us, ended up with a king across from twins.
