  1. Gotta love CC, now we have burger experts that know more than the experts..... Guys are simply the best free burger at sea. regardless of how some think they are cooked. Home run for Carnival's interaction with Guy Fieri. Quality guy got to meet him on the Dream naming ceremony.
  2. I would be surprised at the CC having a play, but that is just me. Way to many options without adding another.
  3. nice bucket list trip, one of my fav areas, and I travel a pretty good amount.
  4. The interaction (the way it used to be) was the best part of the experience.
  5. I would counter the quality comes with the quanity.
  6. Fine to say, and I do not disagree on the approach to the issue (and it is an issue). That said, what everyone does has ramifications. All over the place, from guest services to potential large changes the cruise line or industry must do because of what people do. Rules and policies are put in place to keep the baseline standard operating smoothly, when these are abused, things degade and it becomes exponential. Just remember you said you do not care.
  7. I cannot dispute what you say. It again shows another example of what happens when way too many people qualify. Our first Diamond event was 4 people and we had tremendous interaction with all senior staff. Similar but larger numbers as they grew in size. At some point, that is not feasible, hence the luncheons, now they have multiple of those. The Diamond lnuch is excellent, but pales in comparison to past events. Just MHO.
  8. I think your assessment is spot on. The burgers in windjammer are the worst I ever had had on the seas. Most was just meh…
  9. They are tips, always have been tips, always will be tips. Been discussed tons of time, regardless of what some want to call it. Th ere is no reason for anything to change, Those who remove tips will do it regardless of the name. There have been literally hundreds of threads (might be an understated guesstimate on the amount).
  10. Cannot comment, she was the first of the Costa makeovers….
  11. For journey cruises they were out of PC (maybe more), but mainly SJ. They are missed
  12. The acquisition of the Costa ships is fairly new (and dynamic from a timing perspective), you may be right, she would fit in nicely…..we shall see.
  13. Of the Carnival family for Alaska, two think they are the top of the heap in Alaska, Princess and HAL, both for different reasons.
  14. Not sure I see the math. There is a blip in new ones compared to the latest monstrosities of the eases, but we all know the reason for that. They are 2 short against the lead of RCCL (28), CCL has (26) and NCL (19). I do agree on the sent to salvage ships, but that again was a covid financial blip.
  15. Not sure how anyone can say they can not compete…. (I know you did not). The only possible variable that I can think of is profitability
  16. We did all if these on our Breeze journey 2019 cruise. Simply the best itinerary in the Caribbean I have ever done. 14 days from PC 11 islands….would do it again in a HEARTBEAT. Grenade was very interesting, Dominca a little less so. ST Lucia…the gem of the Caribbean. ENJOY!!
  17. Nice mix, love the itinerary on the Venezia Journey!
  18. That would be tough for most of us to SJ..😆 and you are 100% correct in their marketing plan. That said, it has always been head scratching material why they dumped the cruises out of there. I am sure that it is financial, but it is not like they are short on ships. The itinerary was strong. Never really understood the driver of multi port embarkation either. I have more than once, when given the opportunity, voiced my opinion to bring it back, even seasonably. Think of the opportunities for Journey cruises from there…..
