  1. Carnival mainly docks at international, NCL almost always Punts Lungusta, RCCL as well. MSC it’s a coin toss. paradise beach is great we go there everything Mike in Cozumel
  2. Not really a hike, only have to go up an elevator to the haven complex. Aft is absolutely a hike, we had one on the joy, loved the huge balcony and also the second bathroom
  3. I agree I was on breakaway forward facing haven, balcony is small, but the bathroom and bedroom are fantastic
  4. Yes which ship! I have sailed in both and we love the forward facing simply becasue of the private bedroom. your butler wont even knock when bringing breakfast or coffee to the room just tells you close the bedroom door and he will sneak in sneak out and set everything up.
  5. I will say, We cruised in April in the Haven on the Joy, and tried to make a dinner reservation on board maybe 2 days in and could not get into cagneys! not a big deal as we have eaten there many times, and gave us a chance to try the BBQ place which we all loved along with the great band that was playing.
  6. 1000% agree! I do not have a problem with bringing a guest to simply show them and then show them out, but to utilize the amenities they have not paid for….nope! Fork over the cash and book a yacht club, or stay the heck out !
  7. Like every venue on NCL, Business Casual will work! One of the things i love about NCL is Shorts and Polo shirt are good for almost every venue also.
  8. So just checked my booking and the tier match is in, i recieved 4000 points which makes me silver so after this cruise will received 3,000 points ( booked more then 12 months out so get double points) so will be at gold after 1 cruise.
  9. One of the reasons why we stay in the Haven! We love on early port mornings waking up to A full breakfast on the dining room table.
  10. Not sure if you booked through a third party i would try them first. When you book directly through NCL they will almost always allow you to pay for an upgrade as long as it is a higher category cabin
  11. Yes, You can brought down to the Gangway Via Private Crew elevator bypassing the lines and crowds
  12. Wife and I took our oldest and his girlfriend (both 20) on a cruise last year and we told them we had balcony and they got inside cabins, should have seen there faces when we boarded with the escort and brought to the Haven on the Breakaway.
  13. Not to mention, I would be pissed if i was out by the pool and those who are not supposed to be at the YC pool are taking up seats. Again, if you want the extra level of service and amenities, pay for it just like the rest of us.
  14. Yes, Your drink package has already included the gratuity, anything extra you choose to give to the bartenders is up to you.
  15. I am cruising the YC for first time on the Seaside. We are on deck 16 and was wondering if the elevator on that deck is key card access for YC only? Just curiouse, as we sail the Haven alot and we never have an issue with Non Haven inside the complex
  16. I will say Shorts, Tee shirt or Polo short is fine for the Haven restaurnant , but Went to have breakfast before a port day so was in board shorts and a tank top, was turned away. not a big deal but now i know.
  17. I just took a picture of my lattitudes account showing my number and current level
  18. We were on the Joy in April for the Easter Sunday cruise, there were decorations everywhere!!!!! We also had a door magnet on our door and never had anyone say anything. Decorate away, if asked ot take them down, just take them down. And as far as forcing someone to look at something on my door every time you pass? You must be the person that complains about everything.
  19. So we booked 19019 for September 28th 2024 ( yes a long ways out, good thing we have a Haven booked for January). I see the Yacht club includes a mini bar? Wife and I are mainly beer drinkers so would they stock with say Michelobe Ultra daily? Excited to try out the yacht club!
  20. I must admit, the only reason we are trying the YC is Price. We love NCL, Love the Haven, but with Haven prices getting the way they are we are going to give YC a shot and believe we will love it! Like you said, $3300 for YC interior is less then NCL Balcony with the FAS perks. We have a Haven 2 bedroom in January on the Escape and now booked the YC on the seascape for next September. Going to try and see if we can sneak another cruise in between those two.
  21. Upgrading to the Haven is almost impossible lately. We are on the Escape January 6th 2024 and there are only 13 Haven suites left. We have a 2 bedroom Haven Suite, becasue we are traveling with anouther couple and was the most affordable way to all stay in te Haven
  22. So wife and I who have been cruising in nothing but the Haven for the past few years have just booked our first MSC Yacht club on the Seascape. We love the Haven, but pricing has gotten a little crazy. Looked at both for same time of year and cheapest Haven was over $3k more for 7 day cruise. Now granted we are doing an inside Yacht clube suite for our first go around, but for $3300 to get a "Haven like" experience I am gonna give it a shot. Would love to here feedback on those who have tried the yacht club, and how did it compare.
  23. So, Wife and I have sailed Carnival, RCCL, Princess, and have been exclusive to NCL Haven for the past few years. We love the Haven but their prices have gotten a little out of control. So we are going on the Seascape staying in the Yacht Club. We have already Tier Matched with MSC so we are going in as Silver so we got a 10% off the cruise off the bat (NCL could learn from MSC on this). We decided to book the inside Yacht Club mainly because the price was fantastic!!! We spend all our time out of the Cabin so we really wont miss the Balcony. With that being said I do have a few Questions: 1: Sailing in the yacht club you get double reward points? 2: I see the Yacht club pool is much nicer and bigger then most Haven Pools, Does it really get crowded up there? 3: Anyone Cruise Haven as well adn compare the yacht club dining room to the Haven Dining Room? 4: Also, it looks like there are formal nights on MSC, other then the formal nights are Bermuda Shorts and Polo Shirts allowed in the Dining rooms for dinner? Would love any feedback or opinions anyone can give a new MSC and new yacht club cruiser. If the yacht club comes anything close the Haven, we will most likely be switching to MSC! Thanks again
  24. Sailed in April, 1 of the main dining rooms will be open for lunch, as well as buffet, and the Local. The Haven Restaurant will also be open for Haven guest and also American Diner ( Free for Haven guest on the first day.)
  25. Sailed out in April on the Joy. Boarding was smooth but a bit delayed due to Full Coast guard inspection. We were in the Haven so showed our boarding docs outside then were taken to a separate entrance then up an elevator to the separate Security screening and check in line. Haven Boarded first and our friends boarded in group 1, and they got on board about 45 minutes after us.
