Awesome, I had the 2 bedroom in march on the Breakaway! Loved it! I think we switch out Cagney's for Moderno, since we have not tried it yet. Can't wait for drinks in the Haven Bar!

I appreciate the kind words. I know most don't like to get dressed up, my wife and I do for some reason lol....As far as Excursions, we are still on the fence as I have sailed to all these ports many many times.

Well Wife and I are 13 days out from our 9 night Cruise on the Getaway from Port Canaveral. Wife says I get ready way to far in advance, maybe she is right lol. We will be leaving on 9/28/22 (day after my birthday) from Charlotte NC driving to Port Canaveral and Staying the night pre-cruise. We have booked The Country Inn and Suites in Port Canaveral which included all parking for the duration of the cruise. Cost was $240.00. This will be our first time on the Getaway but have sailed the Breakaway several times. We will be staying in a Haven Courtyard Suite on deck 16 ( won my last 2 bids on the breakaway to Haven, but Getaway was almost sold out so outright booked it) We have stayed in the 2 bedroom before and the forward facing Haven Suite and loved them both and sure we will love this one! We have done the Western several times in a row, simply because we were going out of New Orleans (Used to live in Memphis) so the Eastern is a nice switch. I have read so many live reviews and it has helped us out so many times, that it's time we return the favor.

My last few bids i have one was notified about 4 days prior. Check your status on the bids, if all have expired and one saying Pending that will be the one you win. Will go from Pending to processing rather quickly like a few hours.

I always Cruise During Hurricane Season, for several reasons. First, prices are lower as we like to stay in the Haven and always can get much better deals. Second, ships passenger count is always lower as most kids are in school so we enjoy the extra space. I have sailed many many times during hurricane season and understand that there may be an itinerary change. Only thing that I ever really worry about (which is very little worrying )is that a storm will make landfall the day of embarkation possibly canceling the cruise, ore delaying embarkation by a day. Has never happened to me in the 25 years i have been cruising. Cruising on the 29th this month 9 night eastern Cruise! 13 days left

The reason why NCL doesn't offer them is because in all my years sailing on ships as well as working on them, enrichment programs are very poorly attended. They can be utilizing the venue for something far more received or even revenue generating. With that being said the only lecture that was always well received and attended every time was when they used to do the History of the SS Norway (SS France) But again that was when I worked on board and was almost 17 years ago

Never stayed there but I will be staying at town and country port Canaveral Wednesday the 28th for my 9 night cruise. 230 total including 10 days parking

Not thinking they will cancel, but i am sure they are not going to dock or tender anywhere in the storms path. My assumption is that eastern cruises will be diverted to the western. If anyone gets notice of this pleas update all of us.

I agree, that was my original question, if anyone sailing out today through Sunday have had any information about itinerary changes yet. I am asusming that anyone heading to eastern Caribbean will be re routed to the western?

My guess even if it stays as a depression ship heading to eastern islands leaving port today through the weekend will be diverted to western.

Was wondering about the islands, looks like it’s gonna get very close to Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands

Just seen that the tropical depression has been upgraded to A named storm. It looks like by this weeekend and early next week will arrive at many eastern cruise ports. Was wondering if anyone has heard of any port changes for cruises leaving this Saturday and Sunday? We leave on the 29th and hope this storm is gone by the time we cruise

Yea they still offer upgrades even if sold out, but unless someone cancels their cruise I wouldn’t bet on winning a bid

Is this the waterfall tour booked through NCL? I just the description and I do not see any weight limit for it? Looks pretty fun to me and that may be what my wife and I do

Monitor the inventory, if your bidding day on the Haven and inventory has went down, increasing your bid may increase you chance on winning

Never see a walk into pool on a cruise ship on any line. But that doesn’t mean they don’t exist

Be careful week of the 4th has a lot of college spring breaks , we sailed same week last year out of New Orleans and was packed with college kids, me personally wife and I, me 42 wife 40 love to party and was a blast, plus showed some of them how to drink lol

The breakaway is out of New Orleans in March correct?

Just looked at my boking statement when my cruise for September 29th, I upgraded on August 11th because at that time there was only 2 Haven Suites available, 1 Courtyard Suite and the Deluxe owners suite. This is for the Getaway. I believe it was about 2 day later everything showed sold out. I was able to get the Courtyard for what I was willing to bid. once you get about 50 or 60 days out keep a close eye on availability and Haven Price drops.

We are on the 9 night on the 29th from port Canaveral, Following and excited!!!!!!
