On Apex now…one officer said that it might be installed in St Kitts day which is tomorrow..we shall see

Following along….I usually do it live but I will be on the Apex from 12/3-12/10…so I will have a lot to catch up on when I get home…have a great cruise!!!

Thanks for sharing your review…we are getting ready to board on 12/3..glad you had a nice cruise.. interesting what you said about the salon …I have an appointment there for a blowout and now I’m considering canceling it…I guess they didn’t warn you about the lack of products before they started…hopefully they get a delivery soon

Has anyone gotten an official letter from Celebrity regarding 2024 Asia cruises.

Following along…have really enjoyed your other reviews… Have a wonderful cruise. Not heading on the Beyond until January 2024 but have the Apex a month from today.

Surprised…no British Aisles itinerary…especially having its home port in South Hampton…they usually do at least two a year…maybe they think locals wouldn’t be interested…or they will offer it again from Amsterdam which I would actually prefer.

I will be on the Apex the week Europe opens…I’ve never been onboard during a itinerary launch …how is it booking wise?

Interesting…in my three Edge cruises since the restart I have not seen the Magic Carpet move let alone serve dinner….I am heading on the Apex in December I wonder if they will have dinner on the Magic carpet then?

I believe if you are booked in a suite you can board any time so you should be able to make lunch at Luminae…at least that is how it’s been on the other ships since the restart.

Do they usually announce the itineraries before you can actually book.

I just noticed that on my Celebrity Apex cruise next October our Haifa day falls on Simchat Torah. Currently Celebrity does not have any excursions listed. Does anyone have experience being in a port on a high holiday and if there are excursions available and what they were able to do.

We were confused by that as well…that is not the prize if you guess the weight correctly..it is some print that we were not that interested in…

I kind of think it’s sad that this is a good deal …which it is….that is around the price I paid for sky suites for the last three Edge cruises since the restart…two seven nights in the Caribbean one in Greece and for one coming up in December on the Apex… we love sailing in the retreat especially on Edge class ships but the prices are getting a bit high….

I wish they had this menu on the Edge class ships…I am not thrilled with the choices on their menu and when I asked for something not on the menu the server told me no…

I know how you are feeling…I am onyx as well and have a 4 cruises booked in the next year…I call blue chip and the best offer I had was a discount on a veranda only until March of next year…with no ability to upgrade to Aqua or retreat

OP …we had self service on the Summit (pre Covid) and Edge (post Covid) both US departures. It was the 9/8 sailing on the Edge out of Rome that there was no self service. Servers were quite busy so my husband asked why there was not self service beer and wine like we had on the last two Edge cruisers. It took quite awhile to get drinks and he thought it was much easier before. Any recent cruisers…what has your experience been.
