  1. Thanks for the advice…it wasn’t on the website..but he was able to add it there…then he had to delete and reinstall the App before the cruise appeared.. so we are ready to sail🚢 😊
  2. We are sailing on the Equinox on Saturday and my husband is having trouble adding the cruise to the App… for the past couple of days it’s been saying try again later…has anyone else had this problem? any advice? I would rather have this taken care of before we board.. thx

We are getting on as you get off… so interested to hear your observations…this is our first time not in the Retreat and are a little concerned about the pool situation…we loved the Retreat deck on the Edge and the Apex and even the Summit was ok without a pool because it gave us a quiet place to relax… Is this Lewis’ last cruise before he leaves for paternity leave…we have had him several times and thought he was a good CD…

Very disappointing to hear…we are heading on the Equinox on the 14th…first time on a S class ship and first time not sailing in the Retreat…we are in Aquaclass… Planning to keep an open mind…and enjoy ourselves….we are booked on the Equinox this summer for Spain and Portugal and the Solstice in 25 for Thailand and Vietnam…based on our cruise coming up we may need to reevaluate our future bookings…
  6. I watched that video as well…very disappointing…we are on the Beyond in January in a sky suite for my husband’s big birthday…
  7. I guess I worded it wrong …they were making it sound like Wi-Fi and beverages is all you need and that tips were not essential…

Interesting they did ask a lot of the questions that are being debated here of course with a positive spin…but she did admit that infinite verandas don’t work for everyone or her ….maybe we will get some more traditional ones on Edge 5??? Although the all included topic really makes no sense…do they want people to have the option to remove tips???

Just received interesting email from Virgin Voyages and I quote ”so don’t settle for cutting back to a once a day cabin cleaning service, paying for a suite without exclusive dedicated support, or accepting packages that no longer include covering tips, let us treat you to the kind of luxury cruise experience you deserve.” thought that was very interesting…Virgin is on our list to try …we actually had a deposit and had to move the trip and were not penalized…now I just have to figure out what to book..
  10. I see them both on this weeks sailing on the Ap…they will probably have these shows awhile considering they are relatively new and M and S Class shops have shows a lot longer…
  11. I am actually thinking about that trip for 2025 as well…I did the Danube with them this summer and we had a fabulous time… would love to hear about someone’s experience on that Rhine itinerary…
  12. Following along …we board the Equinox with the same itinerary on October 14th. It will be are first time on a Solstice class ship in Aquaclass. We have previously sailed on the Summit, Edge and Apex in the Retreat in Sky Suites but have been pretty much priced out except a Beyond cruise in January for my husband’s big birthday that we booked when they were first released… I have been looking forward to this sailing but some of the negativity on these threads can give me pause…. thanks for posting your thoughts and pictures…especially of food…I often find it hard to make of the descriptions of dishes… Have an amazing cruise…

I am having a similar issue but we are on aqua…I upgraded both our beverage and Wi-Fi to premium during the last sale…I just did on line check in this week and mine says both PALL and CALL in that order and my husband says the reverse…. I have my TA looking into it…I would like to avoid standing in line at guest services..if at all possible…
  16. Make sure they didn’t take away your gratuities if you had them includes before….my sister in law just got an invoice for our January cruise that did that… port fees went up but her total went down because they took away her included tips that she had booked with…

  18. We are sailing on the Celebrity Beyond in January for my husband’s 60th birthday. We are in Grand Cayman on his actual birthday and he wants to play golf. I started researching and there doesn’t seem to be many options. Anyone have any experience with this.

  20. It seems like every day something else is being taken away. It’s disappointing. I currently have 5 Celebrity cruises booked through 2025. It is really making me question whether I will keep these bookings. I have an October Equinox paid in full in Aqua Class. First time sailing in Aqua …previously done Sky Suites but the pricing has become outrageous… I thought Celebrity would my go to line after sailing mostly Disney as my daughter grew up. After 30 ocean cruises I went on a Tauck river cruise this summer and it was outstanding… I can’t believe I am considering land tours with Tauck or another river cruise with them instead of the Vietnam/Thailand cruise I have booked on the Solstice in 2025….which I was so excited for…
  21. This is all just eye opening news as to the direction Celebrity is going…and it doesn’t excite me it the least…. I thought they would be my go to cruise line after exclusively sailing Disney as my daughter grew up…. All these changes like cutting longer itineraries, adding Coco Cay, canceling South America on the Equinox…seems like you really can’t count on them not to redeploy whatever cruise you are booked on. Just returned from a river cruise on Tauck and absolutely loved it…I think I will be shifting my travel plans to Tauck land trips and river cruises..the Celebrity product just seems to be not what I’m looking for anymore..but we will see…we have 5 more cruises booked…. We will see what happens..

Wow that’s a huge decrease…obviously just another cost cutting measure…we booked a sky suite for my husband’s big birthday for Jan 2024 when it was just released…probably close to two years out by the times we sail…a little disappointed with how they are handling it…we have only sailed sky suites and have used butlers in different amounts..but we did an anniversary cruise on the Edge last September and our butler was wonderful in providing us surprises as well as my birthday cruise this past February.. I don’t like how you booked a suite being sold certain benefits and they just took them away without even notifying guests…that is terrible customer service.. The January cruise is our last in a sky suite…the prices have become outrageous…we have booked some Aqua going forward..I’ll see if we like it.. I thought Celebrity would be our go to line going forward…but I don’t think that is going to happen.. We just returned from a Danube river cruise on Tauck and it was incredible..After 30 ocean cruises I was hesitant to book that but it was spectacular..I can’t wait to book another one as well as some Tauck land tours…

  24. Just received my phone call…it seems they gotten a lot of feedback already…not very positive…hopefully this is over soon…would be nice if they can end it before the 8 week test …like the menus that came and went very fast,,,
  25. I am not booked on these sailings but have had other cruises canceled by Celebrity and we were offered price protection… I think that is the least they should do….
