Depending on itinerary and category…if you are planning to book a suite I would say Apex…i really enjoyed the suite deck when we sailed Caribbean in December…

No …i simply asked for a drink from a server in the Retreat and he said he would ask his supervisor who said it was alright..

Got off a five night cruise on the Summit yesterday that visited Grand Cayman..we were staying in a sky suite… I did not notice anything written in the Today regarding limited alcohol service.. we returned to the ship around 1:00 had lunch in the Ocean View ..did not notice alcohol available but I was not really looking for it… after lunch we went to the Retreat deck …I asked a server not a usual retreat one for a Miami Vice..he said he had to ask his supervisor…came back pretty quickly and said he would bring it…but then I was talking to someone in the hot tub and he said no one would serve him until I got the server to ask his supervisor…

I am trying to decide which cabin to choose for a Asia itinerary in 2025 going to Vietnam an Thailand on the Solstice …I have never sailed this class of ship…I have only been on the Summit, Edge and Apex in Sky Suites…for this sailing we booked Aquaclass as we watch Celebrity’s prices rise… we are currently booked in an aft cabin 1672…it’s interesting it looks like the Solstice is the only ship in its class that has Aqua aft cabins…I was thinking of considering switching to 1606 or other cabins on the hump by the library…I have never stayed all the way aft and have heard concerns about soot, noise long walk to cabin…anyone have a preference? thanks

I am curious about that too…we will be there next Thursday and this is our plan but would love more information on it…

With a suite guarantee…do you get the perks associated with suites ( premium drink package, tips, premium WIFi and OBC) or do you get to eat in Luminae and get drinks in the Retreat lounge/Michael’s Club and everything else you need to pay for.

Is it just your party chartering the sailing or will there be other guests…if it is just your party than maybe you can arrange to be dropped off by the tender to the ship if that is not where they usually drop people off.

We were on the Edge in early September and we did not have a wait for the cable car but it will all depend on the day and how many ships are still in port. If sunset is at 8:37 to me it seems tight…you also need to know what time the last tender is. It took awhile for the ride back to the ship since we had some rocky seas..will this be a private excursion?

I have not sailed the Beyond yet but many have reported there is no early and late seatings in the MDR, it is all anytime.

What I don’t understand is why is the pool bar allowed to serve alcohol…that would be a strange ordinance…is it that they have to pay per location…for those paying over $100 a day for their drink package it’s a little frustrating…

Yes very interested if other cruise lines besides Celebrity are doing this as well…we were planning to stay on board and I am kind of upset we can’t use our beverage package that they just raised the prices of tremendously

I’m heading on the Summit on 2/6 in the Retreat if the posted menus remain the same they look identical to the menus I had on the Apex in December and the Edge in March and September of last year…

For some reason the ice cream was awful on the Apex in December…the hard was so icy and the soft was not creamy at all…I was disappointed… hopefully the ice cream is better when we board the Summit on 2/6 on my birthday 🎂

Bon Voyage…following along…still deciding if we are booking the 2/12/23 sailing as a side by side with the 2/6 Celebrity Summit…hopefully we will book soon..it would be our first Virgin sailing…

I wish they would of let us know that this was the issue instead of marking it canceled in our accounts…it would of saved everyone a lot of time and energy trying to figure it out…

When do you get your boarding time? Is there an online check in that then gives you a time? We still haven’t finalized the booking and we are within a month…I know dining reservations have started for everyone…but now I am concerned about show reservations if we don’t get on the ship early enough….

Bon Voyage…I have been in a sky suite on the Edge three times since the restart and always had a great time…I see Lewis is your CD…I think he does a wonderful job….your veranda looks big…maybe it’s the angle…have a great time …hoping to do a longer Caribbean sailing soon…

Yes I was about to post that Aqua is more than the retreat for the 3/5 sailing…I’m thinking another error unfortunately….if it is they really should work on this..

Hopefully it’s not a mistake…unfortunately the sailings can take is the 2/12 and that is priced pretty much double…the retreat prices generally have gotten out of control…we have a couple more booked at more reasonable prices but may have to reevaluate in the future

If things are in limbo…why in the world did they change customers account so that it says the voyage is canceled…why didn’t they just wait until things were more settled…this just causes more confusion
