  1. I'm trying to see your perspective on how this doesn't qualify and by getting two credits "doesn't make it right". Thanks for any insight!
  2. If I book two staterooms, one in my husband's name and one in my name, shouldn't each room get shareholder credit if our account has 200 shares and in both our names?
  3. My 2 DDs (21 & 19) both tried roulette on our last cruise and had fun losing $25 each. I was able to barely keep my nose above water so we came back two more nights. The last night the DDs advised me on two specific numbers and we won! I said "let's quit while we're ahead" and we went to the comedy club. We had a blast!
  4. I agree! Maybe because I'm sipping on it while in my jammies....
  5. Thanks for reposting. I didn't see this code and it worked!
  6. On my recent Ecstasy cruise, my DDs and I played roulette for 3 nights and didn't notice any smokers by us or smoky air. Maybe we were lucky that way. Not so much with roulette🤑
  7. Plus I'm the one who pays for everyone cruising with me (on my credit card) so I think I should be able to decide where the OBC is spent. Which is all on Carnival stuff. Hmmmm, now I need more coffee🙃
  8. FYI, on my Ecstasy cruise May 28 - June 2, I called to get those breakfast room service cards. Well, I was told to scan the QR code on the wall and call in my morning wake up breakfast with specific wake up time. The deliveries were always a bit earlier than my requested time but it worked out great! Coffee was hot as well, bonus!😄
  9. I tipped $20 total but our one guide was with us for 4-5 hours.
  10. Definitely let them know. We celebrated our 30th and a cake with "happy anniversary" in icing was delivered to our table. Have a great cruise!
  11. I saw in my Cruise Manager that my OBC was used up for one cruise (which I was the one doing that) and not used up in my other cruises. I wonder why the PVP couldn't see that?
  12. Great review!!!! My DH, 2 DDs and I will be on Freedom Jan 2024 so this was a great way to know the ship. Thanks for taking the time to chronicle this, soup to nuts!
  13. Awesome!! Love Emeril's on MG and I bet Celebration's Emeril's will be just as tasty!
  14. I'm curious if the Carnival ship had passengers or just crew. Being "diverted" to Aruba sounds like the itinerary was changed.
  15. My mom and I were on Sunshine beginning of April. If you happen to see in MDR Joseph, Ronnie and I Wayan please say hi from Bethany and her mom. If you go to Alchemy and see Dusan (pronounced Doosh-an), Evan and Zoltan please tell them I miss my Fiery Tropical Martinis made with Mezcal. I don't know where staff from Cucina would be, but if you see Gaiza tell her hi from us as well. Just in case you don't have anything to do🤣thanks!!
  16. My DH brought suits (and even a tux) on past cruises. Now since the restart he wore a suit in Sept (5 day cruise) and slacks and a nice shirt in January (4 day cruise). We are trying to keep it all in carry ons so a suit takes up too much room. I usually wear some sparkly top with a skirt or a Lily Pulitzer dress with heels. Hope that helps!
  17. I have had Cheers and a gratuity is included but I always tip an extra dollar. I use GeoBlue (blue cross/blue sheild) for travel. When I traveled last cruise with my 2 DDs (19 & 21) the coverage for a 5 day cruise was $43.19 total which was for medical evac primarily. Our deductible was $500. I believe it is based on the age of the oldest person traveling and that would be me. I'm old.😉 Man, I thought I tipped a lot on top of prepaided grats....I usually tip $20 to main room attendant, $10 to assistant room attendant, $20 to MDR head waiter, $15 to asst MDR and $5 to Maitre D. Room service gets $3 per delivery. I also tip the table person at the roulette table. Don't see many players do that, at least not on my last cruise.
  18. I have to say on my last two using VeriFLY the process was smooth and took less time. Not a ton of time was saved but knowing I had VeriFLY completed AND had all my paperwork at the ready, my stress level was much lower than previous cruises. I'm a shaky mess when I'm going through embarkation😜
  19. Great review!!! Loved the exciting beginning all the way to the relaxing last day. When you were checking cruise rates, was the VIFP lower than the non VIFP? Thanks for writing the review😄
  20. Is Blue Cay in Mahahual? If so, we were charged $4 per person from the port to The Krazy Lobster which is about a ten minute ride as well. And it was the same rate going back to port.
