Definitely cooler this morning for disembarkation!! Also of note is totes aren’t automatically left for you in your cabin…available upon request. Of course, if you didn’t know that…. Sunrise this morning from Port Everglades. -

@hcat This is taken from the Solarium on Reflection, looking over the bow of NCL Getawy. We are both backed in to the port. So very close to the lighthouse. -

Well, on Reflection there is no Craft Social. It is still Cellar Masters and has a very restricted drink menu.

Yes.

We were at the Sky Lounge for sail away!! Chairs in front. Later that night we were back at Sky for the band, Arjam’s, Best of Rock set. For one song a passenger played the drums and he was fantastic!!! Mr. Drummer, if you are reading this, you rocked!! -
Well, Reflection carries more passengers and sometimes it affects the MDR experience. On Equinox we seldom had to wait for a table and if we did it was just 5-10 minutes. On Reflection, anytime we’ve gone from 5:50 to 6:30 we are always quoted 30-35 minutes wait and given a pager. And told it only works at the Martini Bar or Cellar Masters. The problem there is the Martini Bar is always mobbed at that time and Cellar Masters is a tomb and very hard to get a drink. On Equinox Cellar Masters has been converted to Craft Social and it’s much easier to get a drink. That conundrum is balanced by the Reflection’s improved Sunset Bar…however that is counter balanced by the reduction of half of the Sky Lounge… I never have had a bad cruise so I’d sail any S Class ship. (As Abraham Lincoln said “Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.”) If the itinerary and price were exactly the same at the time I want to cruise I’d select Equinox. And Equinox is going to be sailing out of Port Canaveral next year!! Closer to us!!

Here we go again... LIVE from Beyond, February 19, 2024

We were on Apex last year and it felt as though it was a sauna experience. I would have sworn no AC at all. I sat down to read…tried to convince myself it wasn’t too warm…broke out in a sweat and gave up the idea. On Reflection now and the Solarium is most definitely ACed…🥶 That is very strange if a conscious decision was made to have the Solarium on E Class be warm… -

OP is in a suite. Suite passengers may dine in Blu, space provided. -
We are!! However, Monday we had a glitch with Martha the Marvelous, our cat sitter. On Sunday when she left our house the cats were lose in the house. On Monday she opened the door to no cats! When they hear the garage door open and close they are ALWAYS waiting for you at the door. She found them in the guest bedroom…somehow they must have been wrestling and managed to close the door…effectively locking them in. Poor things! One had an accident and Martha was absolutely beside herself apologizing and I kept saying please, no, this certainly wasn’t your fault!! More apologies…she’ll buy me a new comforter if the spot doesn’t come out…no, no, definitely not, this is not your fault!! Meanwhile DH is insisting on looking at every text I’m sending in case I somehow offend MtheM. As if!!!!

Thoughts from a First Timer on Celebrity Cruises
helen haywood replied to LabMom57's topic in Celebrity Cruises
None of Celebrity’s beverage packages, Classic or Premium, limit your water consumption or your alcohol consumption. Are you saying you didn’t go to any of the four MDRs because you couldn’t get a reservation on the app? You do not need a reservation. -

I’m not a morning person. Perhaps I should start with an Aspen Coffee! -

Unless Celebrity has totally changed the Cafe al Bacio menu, there used to be Irish Coffee, Cafe Ole, Cafe Kingston and lots more. This is an older picture. -

If you are still onboard, could you post a picture of the page that lists the coffee drinks with alcohol? -
@aussielozzie18 Just wanted to say I broke something in my ankle skiing for the first time when I was 15. A person skiing in front of me fell and I tried to avoid them and when I fell my straps didn’t detach. I had surgery with pins and screws. I was in a cast for awhile (don’t remember exactly how long as it was a million years ago and being in a cast when you’re 15 seems forever…) But, 49 years later I can tell you I never had any issues with the fix. I was soon back to riding horses, running track, long jumps, racing up the stairs…. I was disappointed my hardware didn’t set off metal detectors at airports…I had thought that would be cool…😎 I’m certain orthopedic surgery has advanced even further since back in The Dark Ages…
