I don’t think they will be allowed to the World Club parties not should they be. It’s different if they are in your cabin but as a separate booking that changes things.
Crossing at the moment and there is no sun either side of the ship plenty of wind though. Glad I have a sheltered balcony it’s brilliant as I can sit out and be out of he wind.
I don’t think there is much chance of a return to pre pandemic standards. I am happy with the current offerings and would not want to see prices rise too much. I think people grow out of cruise lines then it’s time to move on. I have outgrown P&O but still think they offer a value for money offering but it just doesn’t appeal as much as Cunard but I won’t engage in deriding the product .
As a solo two I would not pay for upgrade given its a double fee. I certainly wouldn’t pay nearly a1000$ dollars for club just to get my own table and a slightly varied menu. I get my own table to myself with fixed dining and the time I have 2nd sitting is when I would eat anyway. I am not very adventurous with my food choices so would be wasted on me.
I have an extended QV voyage in 2025. I already use Nationwide for my cruise banking and insurance. That’s good if I can just pay another supplement for this cruise too without going elsewhere.
And what happens if everyone chooses the same slots ? If people are not able to get their desired slot for whatever reason the same thing will happen as now they will turn up
to suit. Nothing wrong either with present system in my opinion if people just stuck to the time they were allocated instead of assuming they can arrive at a time convenient to them regardless.
