  1. LA as an end point is ok, as we would fly home from there, not intending to stay over. We like the itin we booked and hope things in panama only improve, drought issues, large charges for ships to cross, etc. It is in Dec, a prime time to be doing the canal. We also managed to snag a french balcony and use an FCC, so can have one cancellation in case things dont work out.
  2. and please do not assume I am panicking...there is a difference between gathering info and panicking...
  3. glad nothing changed for you.... love that the start point for us is MIA...not SFO, just been to SFO, will not book an itin with it...not a great city anymore, JMO.
  4. and you were lucky that he did...as we were as well....
  5. now some lines are cancelling their panama itineraries....cost for lines have risen sharply, RCI has fully refunded their panama canal itins.
  6. no way would I be interested in Mexico... will have to watch and see what happens... we used an FCC so no penalty for one cancellation.... thank you Tom...
  7. does anyone have this itinerary in their future? has O changed your itinerary? to what?
  8. booked a panama canal for dec of 2025, will have to be careful if they change the itin since canal is very dry...dont want them to do more of mexico or more of pacific coast... will see what they are doing about canal this year.... anyone have their itin change? to what? maybe will post it as a new topic....
  9. we were very disappointed in our cabin...booked inside guarantee, got Oceanview, but on deck 3..noisy area..constant hum from equipment storage... but others love this area of the ship... we called it the "dungeon"... will not book a guarantee again... it didnt help since we went from the 7th concierge on the firs leg of the cruise.. if you are not picky the way I am..it will be ok...
  10. You could instead say you love to sail in and out of Seattle. Instead of being unable to handle my comment and becoming rude.
  11. Not up to the physician in Canada. Against the law to do so.
  12. Nope not in Canada. We are always behind.
  13. In Canada you can't get a script for Pax without having proof of covid. Your doctor will give you a script ?
  14. Yes agreed. What we paid at opening price is far less that this latest promo. Again 199pp for premium air, at opening price, now outrageous.
  15. Again, nope to Seattle Washington and nope to anything in Oregon. Have no idea why O would have itineraries for Alaska sailing out of and into Seattle. Yup Seattle used to be wonderful. Have good memories of it but no more.
  16. let us know how you work that out... on closer inspection, our price IS 100pp more since time of booking... risk of 150pp if cancel.
  17. One of them is our cruise, we booked before SM. Asked our TA to explain what it means for us. Price has not gone up since we booked. Waiting for reply.
  18. This survey is rigged to favour lines other than O. Viking ? Holland? No way.
  19. Sailed with celebrity, over 50 cruises, elite plus, till they went class conscious and divided the dining room in half, for those in suites and the rest. Yes the food became slop for the rest. To pay for suites, might as well sail on O. So now building up loyalty with O, once we reach 19, get free cruise. But you know all that. Elite plus on celeb are things that are all included with O. We have sabotaged the original topic. Sorry to those that mind.
  20. Not sure I could enhance your knowledge of food, my preferences are pretty simple. We are on the Marina in Nov, 2023, Vista in Jan and March, 2024 Marina in Sept and Oct , 2024 Sirena Feb, 2025, Vista May 2025, and will probably book Vista Dec 2025. Booked all of them before SM, drinks of no value to us. Hope to stay healthy to enjoy all of it.
  21. Where is your next cruise? Maybe we can meet to talk about this some more. Safer than politics, or maybe not...lol Johthomas100z@gmail.com
  22. O has given us pretty good flights for November, Bcn to Mia, layover at Heathrow, only 3 hours, some concern, but going 2 days ahead so should be fine. You are right I know nothing about wine.
