Interesting. As for the airlines they are capacity constrained mostly because of staffing issues. Westjet is flying about 30% less seats for example. Cruise ships have always had routes fully booked and others that had last minute availability. Demand as you said was fueled by FCCs. Those according to Carnival and HAL are mostly used. Bookings are falling because of many reasons beyond FCCs. These include chaos in airlines, cost of food and utilities (especially in Europe). Let's see if bookings hold for 2023 and beyond. Would think cancellation rates will increase in the current uncertain time and rates falling accordingly at some future time.

The fares with RCCL are held in a trust account. Crystal did not do that as a privately held company was not required to do so.

I simply go to Celebrity website, login and go to moveup and bid. Often get no email.

FWIW bookings for 2023 are falling as reported this week. Have worked through most of the billions of $$ in FCCs

On our last cruise for suite guests - none. Regular folk - none. For me - good to check off getting a job done.

Bookings are down compared to historic norms. That is what determines cruise fares (airlines too). BK is another completely different thing. If one knew if stock prices would go up.or down they could become a millionaire. Again BK would not really effect passengers, only stock and bond holders.

Dozens of variables including if you are capable and willing to carry you baggage off, ship on schedule, CBP doing a strict check to weather. I can answer your question - You can make your flight. Your big box TA has a long history of incomplete/incorrect booking issues. Celebrity ALWAYS issues a booking confirmation with all the details. You just don't have yours. This is why you talk to agents to have things done properly.

If you want to change simply as on board. Fixed dining easy especially 2nd seating. Anytime is full at some times and nearly empty at others. Looking at all of your posts- think you need to relax and not try to micromanage things that are not likely a problem.

Since it is a new operator you have no real idea. Shore excursions are mostly new. Suggest you visit the port threads and also look at tours you could book direct. Then ask some questions of the operators.

Agree. If people feel the service provided is "substandard" and the pricing is not reasonable then bookings will drop significantly. Today what I would describe as reduced services are pretty much in line with what has happened with the transportation and food industries in general. Thus the choice today is stay home or recalibrate one's expectations. Things have changed and not just for Celebrity.

Forte is in business and appears to have production issues as many flavors are not currently available.
