    Years ago after returning from a cruise on the Veendam, my bank statement had a credit of $18 from "Seattle." It did not say HAL.

    I agree with all the above comments. When I was on the Niew Statendam last August, I made comments on Navigator app. My stepfather and I never got emails with post cruise survey. I emailed guest relations in Seattle and asked for survey. We never got them. I'm glad I used the Navigator app and I will use it again on my next cruise. I agree with others who said that the crew who give the best service never ask for a review. I don't mind it if crew says on last night to fill out post cruise survey, as long as it's a quick reminder.

Your room steward Son was terrific. I'm sorry to also hear about the odor on your deck. That should have been taken care of right away. Thanks for saying that you hung your duffel bag on one of the metal hooks on the side wall. I never thought of that! It's a great idea and I will do it on my next cruise. I'm glad you enjoyed your travels.

    Last August I was on the Niew Statendam and I ate at Rudi's Sel De Mer. I ordered Dover sole. It was a big piece and the waitress deboned it at the table. It was delicious and I highly recommend it! šŸ˜Š
