    LAFFNVEGAS - My stepfather and I were on the Zuiderdam this summer for 35 days. We did not have to fill out a health questionnaire. There were no announcements about covid, but the Captain reminded people to wash their hands. I wish you all the best. Thanks for posting the beautiful pictures and dinner menus! 😊

    In Halifax I took an Independent Taxi. They take credit cards. They also take US dollars, but the Security guard at the pier told me that the exchange rate is better if you use a credit card. All the stores took credit cards.

    I'm sorry your TA hasn't been more helpful. I hope you can get a new TA in the future. A good TA can help with many things pre cruise. Good luck with your dining reservations.

    Cosmopolitan, Gourmet greens, Spiced roasted chicken, Fruit crisp of the day: Mango blueberry crisp with vanilla ice cream, iced tea. Good variety on the menu!

    albingirl - I don't do any ironing at home, so I appreciate having clothes pressed so nicely by HAL.

    crystalspin- I agree with you. I'm happy to get free laundry. HAL does an excellent job and I get my laundry back the next day.

    albingirl - I agree with you. When I am on a cruise, I am not cooking or doing dishes or laundry or grocery shopping, etc. In my opinion, HAL's crew go above and beyond. I think the food is great and there is a big variety with something for everyone. I like the HAL itineraries and that I can go roundtrip from Boston.
