  1. Princess have a fair number of cruises in the Spring and Autumn. Have you considered those?
  2. Totally agree. People order a full pizza each, and the weight challenged eat it all, and the others leave at least half of the pizza. I think the menu should clearly state that you can order a half and half to share.
  3. Yes you can track another person, if you set up the app correctly. But, even if you see where your other half is, can you get to the shop in time!
  4. Category 1 seems the most appropriate. Some people really are paranoid !
  5. We never had to wait. As others have said, it is an overlooked gem ! The tables are "turned" pretty quickly. Thirty minutes from walking in to walking out, so that keeps queues to a minimum. We love the half and half pizzas!
  6. The likes of Cunard and P&O are doing away with observed tests already, regardless of the length of the cruise. Just an acceptance that Covid is here to stay, and that testing will not stop the virus spreading on board.
  7. But doesn't that apply to most ports ? Unless you start looking for really adventurous excursions, the likes of Gib, Cadiz, Cartagena etc do become pretty mundane.
  8. Well, Princess, Cunard, Celebrity, MSC off the top of my head. You are talking rubbish.
  9. That certainly wasn't the case on Regal Princess a few weeks ago. I'm guessing, but probably about half a dozen tours offered, most of which had 5 or 6 hours in Rome.
  10. Charter Savings offer 2.83% on a one year bond. Given that rates are likely to increase over the coming months, it would be unwise to tie up your savings for more than a year.
  11. Actually that is not correct. There are numerous tours that go to Rome and return to the ship.
  12. Or the sign of a great sales person !
  13. You should still ring and confirm. We booked online for a test at the Slough store. Got appointments and everything. Rang the week before and were told they didn't do tests instore .
  14. Just telephone them and check that the store actually does them. Not every Lloyds chemist offers the service.
  15. My DW's sister lives on a Park Home development. Her "house" is about 900 sq ft in size, two bedrooms, study, en suite etc. The development is gated, and only those over 55 can live there. Well kept, very safe and nice and quiet. The majority of residents have downsized and by buying at around £220,000 have released equity. The downside is that whilst you own the home, you do not own the plot it is sited on. And, unlike bricks and mortar, the property price tends not to increase that much. As long as you acept that, it seems a good stepping stone between the family home and a retirement home. Might consider it ourselves !
  16. So, you made your steward's life more difficult, so that Princess could, if they wanted to (unlikely) see where you were ! Unbelievable!
  17. Not sure. Other CCL lines have relaxed their protocols a great deal - Princess appear to be an outlier.
  18. Perhaps the mods could merge the two identical threads.
