  1. I tested Negative on a RAT for a couple of days after my symptoms had started (from Coral Princess cruise) before I eventually tested Positive. So it could still be COVID. Best wishes.
  2. No Guys Burger Joint on the Luminosa, but they will have an included burger option within the Lido Grill/Buffet. I will be onboard on Sunday for the first cruise.
  3. Yayyyy Julie, that's fantastic news. Maybe get off and stretch you legs and get some fresh air.
  4. @Cbtours oh no that's bad news about Frank, it certainly is spreading. Hope you stay negative and I hope he recovers soon.
  5. Just book it as the super bargain price might go up, and get Carnival to apply the FCC BEFORE Monday as it's the 31st. You can put a free hold on it for about 98 hours or something. That's what I did. If you can't get through on the phone, send an email.
  6. Julie do you have to quarantine for 5 more days from your positive test date (yesterday) or your first symptoms date and iso of two days before?
  7. Disagree. I went from a Mini Suite with Princess Plus to a P&O Interior no probs whatsoever.
  8. Oh nooooo Julie, I'm so sorry you tested positive. Is Rolf negative? If he is, it's very possible in the next few days he could also test positive like what happened to us. Take care and keep us updated.
  9. I did this cruise 4 weeks ago. 1 x Formal Night, Bianco, Gatsby, and Back to School.
  10. ***BARGAINS*** There's still some very cheap SOLO Carnival Luminosa cruise deals at the moment. If you have a VIFP number and are aged over 55+. They seem to be different prices for different VIFP numbers so you will need to check specifically for you. But one example I found was: 13th November - 7 nights - $555 SOLO Interior with a window looking at the lifeboats age 55+. Code KSE Seniors Special.
  11. Well this topic is interesting, as I have been considering buying the 100 Shares. BUT I will always book P&O Aust cruises only in a Flash Sale. I do also have four Carnival cruise booked too that were mostly very full priced fares. So now I am wondering if it is still worth buying and how to go about it.
  12. Can someone please tell me, like I'm a Dummie, how to buy the 100 Carnival Shares? Where do I start?
  13. There's also some bargain solo deals on the two Luminosa sailings before the above NZ one. 6th and 13th November. Look on Carnival's direct website. Price varies for VIFP and 55+ age.
  14. Also the cruise I am on departing the 6th November on the Luminosa has dropped even further since I booked. Look direct on the Carnival website. Interior - $633 Balcony - $889. VIFP and 55 +
  15. Bargain SOLO on Carnival Luminosa departing Brisbane on the 13th Nov for 7 nights. VIFP Pricing: Interior - $760 Balcony - $1,001. Even cheaper for the 55+ and VIFP Interior - $555 (WOW) Balcony - $851
  16. I know it's annoying, but can't you just dine in the MDR tomorrow night for your anniversary? It's still nice and you have two nights in the special dining rooms.
  17. Is there any talk of them axing the shareholder OBC benefit? This would be the only reason I would buy some shares.
  18. @Sparky74 What time is the "What's Happening" available to be picked up from Guest Services? Could I get this like old times the night before, by walking past Guest Services before bed, so I can mark things off for the next day? Or is it only available the next morning?
  19. I leave my lanyard on the table, go grab a water and knives and forks and wander off. Even if they cleared away the water and cutlery, my lanyard is still there.
  20. Yes I believe so. I prefer not to use my phone on cruises, but from what I have read you need it to reserve breakfast in the restaurant now, and more details on the daily schedule (Fun Times).
  21. It's correct, I'm on the exact same cruise (6/11). I also have the 23rd October written there. Platinum and Diamond guests will have the 21st October as they get 2 days before to select a time.
  22. I'm on the first Luminosa cruise too, so I have been following a lot of posts over at FB. Not sure about wine packages but the cocktails are around $16 and $17 each. Some bottles of wine for under $40.
