  1. Yeah I read (maybe via JH) that it was going to be Fincantieri. He is going to report on Thursday and Friday from there, so maybe Friday / Saturday our time.
  2. No curtains separating the two areas in the minis on Coral. Lynda I think it was took a shower curtain and hooks, but we didn't.
  3. 2 thirds. One of the seats stays as a seat, the other two cushions are the sofa bed part. See the bit circled. There's three cushions. Two are the bed part and one single cushion stays put.
  4. Here's a photo of the sofa bed made up in our Coral Mini Suite B230. It'd be "cosy" for the two of them if they're small and like to be close, but better for just one.
  5. Yep correct. A couple of weeks ago I looked it up on the Costa website. From memory it finishes 3/4th September. JH is heading to Italy to do a tour on the 7th September and will post photos and videos on his FB.
  6. I just checked the Melbourne 8th March cruise and yep you are correct. It is AUD $1299 pp Twin Share ($2,598 total) for an interior Saver fare. I'm in Brisbane. WOW, you grabbed a great deal well done.
  7. I got the exact same email from Carnival yesterday, for my Splendor booking. I just went in to Manage my booking and made sure all the Vaccination stuff was done and it seems to be all good. Basically the email was sent to EVERYONE currently with a Carnival Booking for this year because they need people who are applying for exemptions, to do it NOW. These are vaccinated voyages and they need to evaluate the 95/5 rule.
  8. @arxcards I just booked the Luminosa for NYE of 23/24. Plus I'm on the Splendor for NYE 22/23. And two more FCC's to book soon. @Hunter69 - don't mind the tag, I was up then looking at the itineraries anyway.
  9. I am GOLD and soon I will be just 7 days away from turning Platinum. Say I board a 9 night cruise, I will essentially turn Platinum during that cruise. Will my Platinum benefits be available on my next cruise, on day 7 of that cruise, or at the beginning of that 9 night cruise? Anybody got any ideas about this? Thanks.
  10. Exactly. How do they think they are going to fill the ship for the 2022 cruises THIS LATE in the game? Give me a sale and I WILL BOOK.
  11. I'm looking. Been up since 4am. Can't say I'm excited though. Price, Itinerary, and how much Funship 2.0 will it have. Also NYE 2022 is back to the Barrier Reef, not South Pacific.
  12. Someone over at FB, just said this "get ready, some exciting news is going to be announced tomorrow.….. FINALLY!!!" WHOO HOO !!!
  13. Someone over at FB, just said this "get ready, some exciting news is going to be announced tomorrow.….. FINALLY!!!" WHOO HOO FINALLYYYYYY
  14. We did not have to move from our Mini Suite when hubby tested + on the Coral Princess. No-one told us we couldn't use the balcony, but hubby decided not to, and just stayed within the cabin walls with a mask on.
  15. Ahhhh my favourite, back from the ole Fairstar days.
  16. I just read on FB that they've pulled the pin and headed for home. Shame.
  17. Yes cruising has re-started in Australia, but no Carnival ships here yet. Just P&O (Pacific Explorer and this weekend the Pacific Encounter starts) and the Coral Princess. Anyone got any more information on the Luminosa and it's start in Brisbane?
  18. I just found this post in CC by user @thecruiserofships (thank you to them) in the Carnival section....... It looks like Carnival is getting close to releasing Carnival Luminosa sailing itineraries/dates for bookings. The docking space is now reserved for Seattle sailings and a couple dates have appeared in the Carnival Hub App. The tentative cruise dates from Seattle are as follows: May 2023; 4, 11, 18, 25 June 2023: 1, 8, 15, 21, 28 July 2023: 6, 13, 20, 27 August 2023: 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 September 2023: 7, 14 http://www.embarkandaway.com/general-cruise-blog/carnival-luminosa-2023-alaska-cruises https://claalaska.com/?page_id=1250 (primary source of the above dates - includes other port docking calendars too) Most of the Seattle dates are departures on Thursday to sail what would be 7 night cruises. There is at least one 6 day and one 8 day mixed in. The Carnival Hub app currently shows November 6, 2022 and May 4, 2023 which could correspond to the first Brisbane date and then the first Alaska cruise from Seattle date. With docking space reserved and work starting to take place on the Carnival Hub App, hopefully it won't be too much longer before the Carnival Luminosa is open for bookings. I'm personally curious to see what work the ship gets (and does not get) since there will be a minimal amount of time for Carnival to make updates to the ship......
  19. Nothing much yet, waiting, waiting. All I have heard is that they go on sale before the end of August, so in the next two weeks. I have four FCC's to book so they better get their skates on. The value-add bonus OBC offer expires 31/10/22. COME ON CARNIVAL!!!
  20. LOL. BTW the 22nd August Coral Cruise you want to B2B with is on sale too.
  21. It is on sale, I just received and email. But I can't share from whom so you'll just need to go through your own TAs.
  22. P&O is having another Flash Sale today. Some great bargains to be had even in the school holidays.
  23. Yeah we were hitting the dance floor on deck while the band Cruise Control were playing. And yes we could see Irene and Frank upstairs. So anywhere on Lido would be fun.
