  1. But they might then be in their mother's womb while she was smoking and drinking.
  2. 🤬🤬🤬🤬 Enjoyed it multiple times on our 11 night repo from Galveston. Was looking forward to it on our B2B at the end of February.
  3. Sea days when they have the brunch. No brunch on port days.
  4. Obviously the new policy just kicked in recently and it's frustrating, but it is what it is.
  5. For future cruise reference, the southern Caribbean route with Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao, known as the ABC's, is fantastic.
  6. If you were not impressed with GSC, can't wait to see your reaction to Nassau, which is normally one step above Freeport on the popularity list of ports that ships visit. Unless of course you wish to overpay at Atlantis or get harassed at the straw market.
  7. Post 33 from Saturday had a link to the current Terms & Conditions, which coincided with what I was told today on the phone by the CSR, which states that if someone in a cabin upgrades, all occupants must upgrade. They are shooting themselves in the foot. I'll pay 12 a day, but not 48 a day.
  8. It used to be 10 bucks a day plus gratuity for the upgrade from classic to premium and one person could do it. It's now 20 a day + gratuity and both people need to do it. So, what used to be 12 bucks a day for 1 person to upgrade is now 48 a day for both to upgrade. So, no World Class Bar drinks or Martini bar drinks for us on our 18 days on the Beyond in November. Not going to pay 5.00 + 20% per drink extra. The Sun Princess is looking better and better.
  9. Nope.....just tried upgrading my package from classic to premium while keeping my wife's package with the included classic package. Tried online and then tried calling customer service. The price difference used to be 10 bucks + 20% gratuity or 12 bucks. It's now 20 bucks + 20% gratuity or 24 bucks times two people or 48 bucks for the two of us to upgrade. 12 bucks a day on an 18 day B2B is doable at 216.00. 48 bucks per day on an 18 day B2B is not doable at 864.00.
  10. Just re-read the above posting. The cap or limit is 1000 per cabin, good towards the price of your cruise, not any onboard spending. And it's good on new bookings, so you may have trouble applying it towards a final payment on an already booked cruise. YMMV. We used it on our upcoming Beyond cruises B2B in November.
  11. That is of course that you remember to order it. To eliminate waste, Carnival now makes you order things that previously were just automatically delivered to your cabin.
  12. Was in 5205 twice. They are sideways cabins, not square ones. An example of the square cabins on the Vista Class would be on deck two, in 2505, 2507 or 2509. Or up on deck eight in 8473-75-77-79-81.
  13. Once again, totally taken out of context. I was referring to a previous very early sailing on the Mardi Gras in which Tom was lucky enough to bid on a seat at a special Chef's table in which the meal was personally prepared by Emeril.
  14. You didn't answer my question so I will infer that you have not sailed on the Prima and you're just regurgitating second hand information. And the Oasis Class is the largest Class that RCI offers at this point, it appeals of course to the hard core Loyal Royal so it would not be a comparison to the Prima Class on NCL, which is the third smallest class in their fleet.
  15. It's the cabin closest to Ocean Plaza. There is a YouTube video of that cabin from the Horizon you can check out. Stayed in 5205, so can't give any first hand information about your cabin, just that instead of relaxing on your lanai, you could be in the Havana area staying in an inside cabin and save money.
  16. Out of my league price wise Tom. Not everyone on CC can afford the cabins you stay in or are lucky enough to have your meal cooked by Emeril. 😉
  17. 5205 and 5208, which are the two sideways cabins in the Havana area are the furthest away from the bandstand. As a matter of fact they are right behind the elevators and we never had any problems whatsoever. The sideways layout of the cabin gave us more useful room than the standard inside cabin.
  18. Inside cabin on deck five, specifically one of the sideways cabins are fantastic. Did them for 8 days on the Horizon out of NYC in Aug of 2018 and for another 8 out of MIA in Aug of 2019. Great value. No need to pay extra for balcony since the Havana area is exclusive. Use the savings towards Cheers or excursions.
  19. Or just avoid the buffet. Other breakfast choices are available at Java Blue, Blue Iguana, Pig n Anchor and Big Chicken. Other lunch choices besides the buffet are too numerous.
  20. There are also more than just two shows. There are the three shows of Family Feud one evening in the MG theater. There are multiple comedy shows every day in the Punchliner for adult shows and the Limelight for family shows as well as two nights with late night shows in the theater. The Excel Class ships take things up a notch entertainment wise compared to the rest of the fleet.
  21. When it comes to long winding roads, you must tip your hat to Sir Paul. But 50K is something to aspire to Jimbo.
  22. Good luck on deck 1 forward. Maybe you'll see Leo since you're basically in steerage. 😁
