The challenge for Princess is IF they said yes, they would be flooded with these exceptions. They just universally say it is not allowed. it is almost like asking for an economy passenger to be moved to first class since some family members are up front.

Island Princess - Honest Thoughts Please

Thanks. Sounds like a secret mission. In fantasy land I hope they are returning the ship to match the Coral. -
Island Princess - Honest Thoughts Please
tcdcruiser replied to Nicole&Pete's topic in Princess Cruises
The Island is reported to going into extended dry dock in 2024. Note the calendar gap for late May and June 2024. Does anyone know what's plan? Seems like a long refit. -
Crown Princess - MiniSuite 2023 - Curtain??
tcdcruiser replied to toronto.gal's topic in Princess Cruises
IMHO.....no wall mounted TV might suggest the Crown is the next to go to a new owner. -
Excerpt below from my 2025 WC Booking Confirmation. Final and full payment is due 22-Sep-2024. The next day, if you cancel the forfeit amount is 30% of the full payment amount. Starting 23-Oct-2024 the forfeit amount is 50% of full payment. etc. If you cancel, the time to actually receive the refund is YMMV. And yes - 2 deposits. I made a deposit last week and my Booking Confirmation asks for more money on 6-Mar-2024 and a final payment on 22-Sep-2024.

Crown Princess - MiniSuite 2023 - Curtain??
tcdcruiser replied to toronto.gal's topic in Princess Cruises
The Crown did not have curtains in 2017, and in dozens of cruises on PCL I have never seen cabin divider curtains on a Grand or Super Grand class ship. Suggest you look for a "live" from the Crown thread and ask a current passenger for confirmation Video tour from 2021 Crown D329 - no curtain divider Cabin tour starts at 4:06 (minute:second). -
In San Francisco for one day... What have we got time to do?
tcdcruiser replied to erniebernie's topic in Cunard Line
I've lived in the SF area for 30 + years. Here are some suggestions. Walt Disney Family Museum - about 4 miles from the cruise terminal https://www.waltdisney.org/ Located within the Presidio. Most visitors are surprised to find a SF & Disney connection. A fascinating collection of personal treasures. Muir Woods National Monument - about 16 miles from the cruise terminal https://www.nps.gov/muwo/index.htm Parking reservations required. This place is truly spectacular. -
Club class selling for around $63k per person, without insurance. Yeah…..big increase.

530 pm all aboard, but about 545 pm Pier Runners! A ship’s officer spoke with them, and I can only image the conversation. Lucky them since we were waiting for a ship’s tour bus that was a bit late. It arrived at 550 pm. Now we are all aboard but trapped by the Navigator of the Seas waiting on one missing passenger. We are in berth 3 and the NOTS is in berth 2. Time for crooners.

Us to Dubai and Dubai to US will be the segment offered but frequently it will not open until PCL fills as many whole world cruise cabins as possible. This per the future cruise desk.
-
On the app it is named “Journey View Activities Timeline”. The names and changes are ridiculous. Now club class is reserve collection. The purser desk is guest services. The maitre d’hotel is director of restaurant operations. funny that the love boat is still the love boat, and has not been renamed the “ship of random romance”

Now aboard the Royal Princess. Future Cruise Desk staff says 3/7 for elites. 3/8 for everyone. Even aboard, we cannot book yet and we are past World Cruise passengers.

It is my observation that Princess may not show all available cabins. It maybe to build a bit of urgency into the potential passenger’s mindset. If you look deck to deck and find, for example, 20 available cabins all clustered together,,,,,that’s a hint. No way all Balcony cabins gone on one deck and a cluster together on another deck.

Oops. Posted to wrong place. still interested in balcony advice. Thanks knbcruisers
-
E729 does get a small amount of noise or bass vibration from the vista lounge venue directly below. Otherwise great suite and great balcony.
-
I am familiar with cruisedeckplans.com and covered vs partial covered vs no cover. However, can anyone share if all mini suites have the same size of balcony? thanks.
-
Thanks so much. Might it be possible for a clearer schedule?

If using a usb storage device format as FAT32 or NTFS then copy content to the storage device (for LG televisions.). This is an LG requirement so see LG manuals for details. Of course getting the TV to accept input from the USB drive is a different hurtle.

Ask Carnival Corp’s CEO: Call for Questions for Josh Weinstein

The Island and Coral are now 20years old. Once retired does Princess plan to continue offering world cruises? If yes, what class of ship? -
If this is the Coral Princess it has been that way for months. In Qaqortoq on 8/5 the coral Princess will be joined by the Zaandam adding 1400 more passengers. That means passengers will out number the local population. if not the 8/5 Coral then suggest you check that ships roll call.

Very interesting. If you do not mind,,,,,what is your enchanted cabin number? I would guess Princess is correct. Also, typically the deck plans with before this date and after that date are changes to public spaces.
