  1. Maybe they've been too busy making towel animals for the Takeover. 🤔👀
  2. Does not mean you didn't see him - where do land on ghosts and spirits among us?
  3. @seagarsmoker positive thoughts for a favorable outcome today!
  4. Sorry to hear about DH valve, but good the procedure is in the pipeline - hope the wait is short, recovery speedy and you're rescheduling another cruise soon. Hugs, prayers and positive thoughts.
  5. Sorry you have lost a friend. Extra hugs and prayers.
  6. Hmm - don't know what to think about brewing a good potion, but anytime we can improve memory is good and I like popcorn but the hulls make me nuts! Would try the meal, maybe the drink but not the brut ($$!!), not been to the port. Currently a nippy 28° feels like 18°, headed to windy 36° with rain coming on a few days but temps should be above freezing. Vet says young dog needs to be weighed before they'll refill the flea tick heartworm Rx so I hope the forecast is wrong - I don’t want to put her in the car in the rain. If it lapses by a day, they do a heartworm test, so I need to get her in. Prayers and positive thoughts for all.
  7. Will you send him to my house, please, when he's done? 🙄😉 I want Teppanyaki!!😋 Not to mention the heat from those flames looks really good right now- it's cold here 😊
  8. Might be the Mother of the Year nominee... 🤷‍♀️
  9. Interesting collection of days - many of my customers are internal and I know some of them better than I care to; I'll celebrate gourmet coffee any day; we have a few things around the house needing maintenance so maybe today's the day to address them. Would enjoy the meal, maybe the drink & wine, went to the port on my last cruise before the shutdown but the pictures are on my computer (I'm using my phone). My sister was born in Newport, RI and enjoyed stopping there. Currently 43° headed to sunny 61°. So glad the lows should be above freezing in a few days and stay that way when the precipitation returns. Will be canceling our TP which means probably AK as well since they were B2B. Today is final payment and I don't see surgeon about my shoulder until next month. If he's operating before end of April, I won't be in a condition to go. I was really looking forward to seeing Japan and Kodiak. Prayers and positive thoughts for all.
  10. Not @TravelBluebird but my experience is they're only in suites. I've only had them in Signature Suite and Neptune Suite. OP may have a different experience.
  11. That's a nice location - hope you enjoy the cruise and the hassles fade away.
  12. Thanks for the info - always appreciate you jumping in w/industry insight.
  13. Didn't have many times when seas were very rough. It was worse going out than coming back. I'm trying to remember if it was closer to Hawaii or closer to Ensenada, but that's how brief it was that it's not jumping out where. Weather was nice. It got a bit windy sometimes on the balcony (starboard mid-ship) that I didn't stay out too long. Full disclosure - I am used to true aft cabins (wake view) that have little wind, so it may have seemed worse to me than it really was. The cover was frequently open at Lido pool - very nice sitting out there. Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!
  14. @Quartzsite Cruiser sorry about your loss. To me, it always feels different to lose someone from our childhood no matter the last time we had contact. Extra prayer and positive thoughts for you.
  15. That's a great score! Enjoy
  16. Yes, their website does need to be updated...in several areas. Masking was not required for anything including embarkation, disembarkation, tendering, excursions, World Stage or elsewhere on the cruises I was on Oct-Jan out of Rome, FLL and San Diego (NS & K'dam). I saw several passengers and Crew wearing them. And also saw both using the hand washing stations - yay!
  17. Also on there for the 2 weeks prior (Dec 21 - Jan 6). He did daily services (not sure if any were missed) as well as Midnight Mass.
  18. Nice pics- very pretty places. Looks like you're having a good time. Did ypu go on an excursion or wander on your own?
  19. You (we) are seeing some really cool places. That garden (park?) with the long, skinny fountain is pretty.
  20. The brick roads are cool - the blue ones probably look good in your condo. You got room in your suitcase for one? The architecture pictures are awesome - never been there, but feel like you're really showing it to us.
  21. Here's a little taste of Heaven to tide you over until you get there.😊
  22. Sorry the weather is not cooperating w/your itinerary, but your pictures are still amazing and I'm sure you will still see some awesome sights on the revised route. Agree those screens are not well positioned at all. They've been removed on some ships and NEED TO GO on the rest. Still great views up there. Here are a couple shots w/o the screens.
