  1. Where does the website state checking is only needed for first leg of a B2B? My 2nd leg had the check-in link active until I used it to check in.
  2. Just commenting - My experience is you will have to pay medical costs, include medications, before disembarkation. Then it's reimbursement via insurance., if applicable. Hopefully they'll be able to answer about the availability of specific drugs
  3. We'll leave her clean for you - also on Westerdam! Enjoy your cruise!
  4. Be sure you do this yourself on FE and just close the browser without saving as @Mary229 said instead of calling FE. If you call DE to check on pricing or alternate flight, they will cancel your existing flight just to search. They will very clearly ask if they have your permission to cancel and search; if you say no, they will tell you they can't search.
  5. Likely your cabin won't be ready, but you can drop your things in it and go enjoy lunch. Welcome Aboard! Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!
  6. AK is fabulous!! We try to go each May & Sept to open and close the season. We will be there May 12-19; maybe we'll see you. Be sure to have the pea soup when going through Glacier Bay.
  7. Yes - Guest Services has a book w/pictures. I think it's a larger selection than what's available to pre-order.
  8. Welcome back to HAL! I'll answer a few items and am sure others will fill in the blanks. Yes, pre-paid it's are refundable provided ypu cancel according to the deadlines. Yes there's tea a couple times during the cruise, but it is somewhat casual (being generous w/that word). No reservations. Yes lunch in MDR embarkation day until 1. Navigator App - install now, limited used until you're onboard. No real turndown service but you can ask & most will do it. Yes room service is free, some items (very few) have a surcharge. You can order off the MDR menu for room service w/in the first hour. PG is increasing this month by $7pp for dinner to $46pp. Not sure about a table for 12. Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!
  9. Nite 😴 @jam19872016 hope tomorrow is better. 🤕 how's your mom handling it?
  10. Walking sticks arrived and are in the suitcase, so now I have another thing packed. They weren't my first choice, but the ones I wanted were out of stock. These have a very nice grip on them; it's curved so it's supposed to be less tiring and put less stress on your wrists. Felt good during a test run around the house. During an AK cruise when we went to Denali, we were fairly limited on hiking because of the snow ❄ I kept using DH to steady myself & wished I had a walking stick; I think he did, too. 🤭 They will add some weight & take up precious space in 🧳but worth it if we hike more. DH ate a bag of the trail mix that was meant for the cruise, so I need to pick up another one before Friday. Look - there's really nothing left - why not just finish it?🙄
  11. Did you go to the Anchorage Zoo? We went last year. Polar bears did not want to come out that day. Sign said they have a cub, so we were really hoping they'd come out.
  12. Yes, typically you can order "normal" items that are not on the menu, especially common things like green beans and broccoli. Requesting it a night ahead will almost guarantee you will get it. Enjoy!!
  13. DH never has an issue w/motion sickness until recently on one particularly bouncey AK cruise. Guest Services gave him pills and said to eat a green apple 🍏 when he takes them. He did and it helped. We now grab a couple green apples Day 1 & make sure we have a couple on hand throughout the cruise. You might try eating one with your next dose. Hope you feel better soon.
  14. Work, work, work - there's too much work!! It's really cutting into my packing time. 🧳🧳Thank goodness for creamers and chargers or I'd have nothing packed. 🫣😢 I'm running outta time, people - someone please send the Motivator to my house!! We got about 15 min of rain yesterday and that distracted me - I had to see it to believe it. When I came back in, I'd lost my will to pack, lol. I'll get a good couple hours in tonight, though. Or so I tell myself. See, here's the problem - because I really don't know what the weather's going to be, I don't know what to pack. And I refuse to overpack. So I'm stuck. Am I over thinking this? I feel like it shouldn't be this hard - by the 30th cruise, I should be on autopilot, no? Well, Carnival says they're gonna see me soon, so I'm going to go make an effort. If y'all are the bettin' kind, someone might want to start a pool...
  15. All ships I've been on walls are magnetic and I do take hooks. This is my first time on Venezia, too, so maybe people who have been on will help us both out and let us know. There should be loungers, not just chairs, since you have a large balcony. The last time I was in an aft wrap on Carnival, I had loungers w/o asking. Hoping that is still the norm. We're in a wrap, too!! We got it specifically for the NY view. I'm beyond excited!! Like the kid who can't sleep at Christmas or their birthday excited.🤣
  16. The box of Sweet Italian Cream pods arrived🥳 and are safely zip locked. So, I've packed 2 things - French Vanilla creamer & Sweet Italian Cream creamer. I'm pitiful...🫣
  17. The rattling should come w/some rocking/rolling (softer version of the vibrations), so you should be able to just "rock" to sleep!! Comfy bed it becomes like an adult crib, lol. Enjoy!!
  18. Thanks @jsglow I've sailed Carnival quite a bit and done many B2B, just not on Carnival. So excited!!
