  1. You will receive instructions on what you need to do on Turnaround Day, but yes, they'll know you're in transit. You won't have to go through the usual boarding process even if you change cabins.
  2. Thank goodness this day is almost over, from an IT perspective. Work has been very busy and I don't know how much is due to the MS outage, so I've not been able to much other than open tickets and say "yes, it is frustrating and I'm sorry." All urine specimens have been collected for the chemical analysis the Urologist wants to do re kidney stones and will be under Fed Ex control by EOD. As I'm typing this, it occurs to me that the receiving facility is likely not open tomorrow. Does that mean they'll sit in the heat for 2 days? Won't that mess w/the results?
  3. My position at work falls under IT - my morning started VERY early w/messages of "I can't log in" "I can't sync, it just spins" and blah, blah.. It has been a long morning. But at least we aren't in travel or critical services - I really feel for them and those impacted.
  4. Hugs for you and Sam. Thanks for sharing the update and the wonderful picture; you have a beautiful boy.❤️
  5. Hope all goes well for your DH at his appointment today @marshhawk and hugs 🫂 🤗 to you.
  6. 🤞nothing but good news at your DH appointment today @Quartzsite Cruiser
  7. Prayers 🙏 surgery went well and you have a swift, successful recovery @kazu
  8. Sounds like you've been exactly where I am now, Samsung-wise, lol. The rest of the fridge is great!
  9. Yes you can do it when you make the booking. As soon as it gives you a confirmation number, on that same screen (not in the email, but still on the website, so don't navigate away from it), it will ask if you want to make changes. Directly beneath the confirmation # will he dining choice on the left and bed configuration on the right. If you missed that, you can call in and ask for it to he changed.
  10. I have not gotten a call back; I call.Ship Inventory daily.
  11. While the Standby Program may work out, you highlight a huge pain point - if booked through a TA, they will get the email, not you and with such a short window, that could result in someone missing the cruise. Yikes!
  12. @boards my experience matches what @crystalspin posted - it's not you, it's them - just click CONTINUE.
  13. In less than a year, the ice maker in a Samsung fridge we got in Dec 2019 stopped working. Tech replaced the "brains" as he referred to the circuit board and said it was a known issue. Last summer it stopped working again. So, I agree - technology heavy items seem to be finicky and have issues. Since it is out of warranty, we now use a small counter top ice maker and will get the fridge fixed when something else goes wrong with the fridge. We're just 2 people who don't use a lot of ice, so the portable one is more than adequate for us. But ask me how I feel about if we ever want to fill an ice chest, lol.
  14. I don't recall hearing they originated in Tucson, but I recall they were the end result of a happy accident. And thank you - I love them ❤️ 💗
  15. I finally caved in today - a Mexican food restaurant nearish to me was sold and has been remodeling for some time. For a really long time. So long, I thought maybe it wasn't going to open. But today as I was surfing through GH, I saw their name so here's what I'm having for lunch...and dinner (there's a lot). Sorry it's sideways🤷‍♀️ From the menu: DH will have the beef version tonight. The guacamole & pico de gallo were missing - probably meant for the empty space next to the rice - which was sort of OK since I don't eat guacamole, but I sure wanted the pico. Charro beans were in a separate bowl that didn't make the picture.
  16. You cannot if you're in the same cabin 😉 it's one AARP OBC per cabin.
