  1. That's the same number as my earlier post (#2). Lis, I gave up after 20 mins on hold, let me know if you can't get through on the 1300 one and I will try again later or tomorrow.
  2. I am still on hold to get an actual phone number but I have found this email address on the CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association) website: salessupport@hollandamerica.com.au
  3. But at least it's a lot closer to your time-zone and they may be able to fix it over the phone ... (or at least give you an email address)
  4. Lis, why don't you try the very nice and helpful people in HAL's Sydney office 1300-987-322 Monday - Friday 8:30am to 7:00pm Saturday 9:00am to 5:00pm
  5. For more info: https://www.abf.gov.au/entering-and-leaving-australia/can-you-bring-it-in/categories/food
  6. I still get "page not found" when clicking the attractions. 😕
  7. I was in Melbourne first week in December and yes, there was a Myki kiosk on the upper Station Pier floor (and it was quite busy too). Also to note is the fact that there is a bus service which leaves from the street level of the cruise terminal (thus avoiding the walk to the tram stop): The Bus 109 City Express shuttle runs direct from the Cruise Terminal on Station Pier to the city, stopping on Queens Bridge Street. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Bus frequency: Morning (8am – noon): every five to seven minutes Lunch (Noon – 2pm): every 20 minutes Afternoon (2pm – 5pm): every 10 to 15 minutes To travel from the city back to the ship by bus, you must catch the Bus 109 Express shuttle directly to Station Pier, departing from Queens Bridge Street.
  8. I had a balcony cabin on Westerdam and found the night light in the ceiling just to be the right brightness (certainly not ultra-bright). I found the under-closet lightstrip quite helpful but can see that it may not be for everyone (easy to remedy as described above).
  9. With HAL you can pre-pay gratuities ('crew appreciation') and their Have-it-all package in A$.
  10. Thanks for your prompt response. I was thinking along similar lines re possible loss (mainly while being manhandled in luggage 'combat'). Hope your bag makes it home real soon 🤞
  11. Looking into luggage trackers now. Question: Do you place them inside your suitcase (and if so is there a preferred place) or do they have to hang outside?
  12. @yes!yes!yes! has just been to Wellington on Grand Princess. Maybe post your question(s) in her thread? Depending on your interests, another experience to consider is Zealandia Wildlife Sanctuary. I visited just before Covid and enjoyed it very much.
  13. No they don't! That's what I thought, so I looked up the tag from my last Solstice cruise (Dec 2018) and it's much thinner, as there are more folds. From what I remember, NCL's are also thinner like that.
  14. We were on our way to Port Arthur, which was cancelled and we proceeded straight to Hobart.
  15. This is what was available on Noordam back in Nov 2018 - I also wish they would bring back that level of detail (not necessarily the info it contained at the time 😨) Air temperature was shown below the map in alternating screens. PS: It was still like that on Noordam in April 2019
  16. Hot-air balloons raising in the early morning (6am) light. Taken from Station Pier cruise terminal
  17. Navigator needs Android 10 to work. Get her to check what version Android is on her phone. My old phone had the same issue.
  18. Thanks for the detailed description and photos from your Bruny day Julie. I'll definitely consider that one for my upcoming Noordam cruise.
