  1. You are correct, it was Veal. The menu does indicate it is for 2. Same as for the 35 oz sirloin.
  2. But Azamara charges extra for specialty dining? So it that a true price up front for the cruise?
  3. Same here, we are scheduled for a July cruise.
  4. ^^ Every time I read one of your thoughtful and lovely posts, I wonder why is a nice person like you hanging out in a place like this?
  5. We did not embark there but had an overnight stay. It is huge and for the most part seemed like a ghost town. The port is actually underground and the stores and all are above it at ground level, etc. it was rather difficult to find entrances to go underground. Once in the actual port O had signs pointing directions to go and personnel also. I’m sure this would be even more robust for an embarkation.
  6. Well I’m new to CC, but wow that thread was quite the read!
  7. In this thread, refer to posts 568, 584 and 609. Appears can be done with some supervisors intervention.
  8. Perhaps because they split the longer cruise into two separate cruises, which required new bookings for both?
  9. Possibly, but pretty sure was there on cruises booked via a TA before. All you need is the booking number and cruise info and the TA would use the Oceania booking number in their paperwork also. You have to have your account set up and then upload existing bookings.
  10. Right now the site states 7-9 weeks if using the Expedited filing with associated cost. This is processing time only, not mailing. So best to include the priority mail option at back end and get about 2 days after processing completed if up against a tight timeline.
  11. I guess then you just have to be accountable for what selections you’ve already made 🤷🏻‍♂️
  12. If you go into your account on the website, click on Booked Cruises. To the right should be the Final Payment button. Click on this and it should bring up a sheet which should indicate which selections, etc. you have made under the Amenities section. At least it does for me.
  13. Have you called O to get some answers to your questions??
  14. It was not available in PG on our recent Vista cruise.
  15. Just curious, how does the Back to Back Savings work?
  16. On our recent cruise we just took the train from Venice St Lucia station to Trieste Central. It was on a Saturday morning so not really crowded. It worked out well for us but I know not for everyone.
  17. When there in May we did not have to take the cable lift up as the tender drop off point was at the Ferry port which had a large parking lot full of buses and vans awaiting. It was probably a good 20 minute ride on tender from ship to the port.
  18. We did not have an issue at starting point as excursions started close to where tether dropped off. The initial drop off point and tether back to the ship were two separate locations.
  19. Probably not easy to answer as will have different times most likely based upon time of year, day of week, last port and next port, etc. For example, have a booked cruise and we are in port there from 10:00 to 7:00. Obviously the same amount of time but still different.
  20. We just sailed on Vista in May and many of the ports were really overwhelmed. The tour guides told us it was insane the number of tourists they were seeing. One of our stops was Santorini. And let’s just say the crowds were absolutely crazy. This is also a tethered port, but I would say that part was quite smooth. The biggest issue though was getting back to the point to be tethered back to the ship. The only way there basically is via cable car lift. With all the cruisers trying to get back, we were in the line for just this for over 1.5 hours. There is a path to walk down but we talked to a few people who did this and they said was quite difficult and with the heat and no cover was extremely difficult, and they were some of the younger cruisers…Mykonos was equally crowded but at least did not have to deal with the cable car lift issue.
  21. Hmmmm, you got all 3 OLife items? We booked a cruise under the 20th Anniversary sale and we got our choice of one of the OLife items and $600 in SBC.
  22. The $3349 is the price showing on the website. Is that the actual summer sale price? Because it states to call your TA or Oceania for the special fare, so perhaps it is lower if you call. Regardless, I would doubt that a Summer sale would be better than the Extraordinary sales event.
  23. Thanks, did not realize. Was always confused as in your booking online it refers to the 365 days but on the PDF it says can be purchased 120 days out and an extra 60 days out if in my case in a concierge level.
  24. When can you actually purchase shore excursions? Is it 120 days prior? I’ve never purchased too far in advance before, but with SM I’m thinking perhaps best not to wait too long as they will be selling more.
