same here, can't get in. Also got an email thanking me for my loyalty, (on an email regarding my next cruise). Said I had 20 days with Princess when I actually have 805 days ,and 70 cruises, when I have 76.At least it said we were elite so they got that right. The 20 days are actually the number of days on my next cruise.So trying to get on the site to make sure my history wasn't wiped out.

And HAL has a Application for your phone too. I recently booked a HAL cruise. Dealing with their website and cell phone application, Navigator, wished it were Princess' website and the now familiar to me Medallion Appl. Believe me, Princess' website still the easiest to use.On HAL, trying to find anything near impossible. No where does it even list your OBC (maybe it does, but not apparent). MCRcruiser, perhaps you should deal with a travel agent that can help you through the process.I live not far from you, not an agent, but could help you download the information. I am sure there are others in your area that would also be willing to help you. Call Princess and get your FCC extended then give Princess another try.

The worst dating show out there. The rules copied from Bachelor in Paradise. This is much worse. A bunch of losers, probably scripted. Where do they find these people? No way would this make me want to cruise if I were seeing cruising for first time. The original Love Boat had fun story lines, great writers, people of all ages finding love . Actors that could act. What a shame. Even if they had brought back the Original format and not a dating show, nothing could beat the Original show. If they are trying to appeal to the younger audience, that is a big turnoff.Doubt if this show will last. Are those people really a Princess Captain, Bartender,and Cruise Director.

Don't know that they have Egg crate toppers anymore. Once the mattresses got changed, they all were fine. However, on Discovery it was back to feeling like a concrete slab. Recently on Carnival Panorama and was the most comfortable mattress we ever slept on cruising.

Thank you Melly4Tea, that was what I was looking for and it works fine. We are traveling with four other couples and I have informed them as well.I was able to see the tours we booked that way. Nice also that we can book the specialty dining too. Problem is for us our group is large and we will need to book together. One of our group is contacting HAL regarding our group and how to arrange in advance.If just Hubby and I, seems so easy to book specialty dining right on line.

So is there a place where you can see the tours you booked? I couldn't find it on the application on my phone. This morning I went to Shore excursions on my PC. Then I printed up the Personal (with our names on it) /Shore Excursion guide. Well, on about page three, it printed my already booked and paid for tours. Then it proceeded to print 43 pages of every tour offered on our 17 day cruise. I kept trying to cancel the printing, but it kept going. There has to be an easier place to immediately see what we already booked. I do have emails showing the tours after I booked so have proof. One of my friends said her tours disappeared and she had to rebook. She also was confused as to where to find information. People complain about Princess Medallion Appl. I find Princess website is very easy to find information. The Appl. is a bit screwy at times but still not hard to use. HAL's, have to hunt for everything. Anyone have an easier way to find Booked Tours.?

I also signed out then in and it didn't update. So then I updated the appl. and the new version opened up.Gone is the blurry ship. All my information is in there. The greeting with Good morning, doesn't have my name. Still has me as blue card not Elite but as I said previous, gave up on this as long as Princess has it correct and my Medallions were ordered correctly.

Did your appl. update on its own or do you go in and make the changes. In the past I would check for updates and do it. Afraid to now based on some of the problems listed here. Next cruise in November has us in green lane so don't want to touch anything. We are still showing as Blue instead of our Elite status. I gave up on that one a long time ago. As long as when I ordered Medallion, it shows as elite on the order and Princess has it correct, am forgetting about it. Of course can't order internet in advance with the discount.Right now our cruises all have the plus package anyway.

I tried Carnival a few weeks ago. The Carnival Panorama out of Long Beach. Expected nothing and got everything. Prior to the cruise had need to call Carnival , call was answered very quickly , problem I had solved in minutes. Ship had some very modern conveniences that Princess doesn't have even on their new ship. Great elevator system. Food venues are many. Some restaurants that are fee at night are free for lunch. The best hamburgers ever. Same with their deli, Omelet stations, Burrito bar etc. They still have fixed dining as well as anytime.On our 7 day cruise, there were four production shows that were incredible. Last Princess cruise in July , on 10 day cruise, one production show. Comedy club with two different comedians each night. We went to see four different performers. You could see both the comedy and production shows in same night.Everything timed for seeing the most entertainment. Balcony cabin had a full size sofa. Regular balcony had two lounge chairs and table,although not large, you could still stretch out (not like Discovery, Royal , Regal etc). As far as passengers, found people were very polite, no drunken behavior, very friendly people. We have been very loyal Princess cruisers and have been Elite for over 10 years. We will continue cruising Princess, but it was nice experiencing something new. For us Princess feels familiar and we are used to it. However, we have decided to also try some other lines every once in a while to mix it up.

You still look like that original photo. We have seen you in person and I recognized you based on that original photo when I saw you on the ships. My photo is also pretty old but it is so small, doubt if anyone would notice.

We had a lanai on the Veendam. I loved when people tried to look in when they were walking by. Sometimes they used our doors like a mirror and was fun watching them. Only problem we had was the two deck chairs that were ours only to use(there were signs on the wall stating private use or something that meant that) we found people using them. I never said anything if we weren't planning to use them at that moment. Seemed whenever we went out and needed them, they were available. I felt like we lost some privacy if people used them.

Do they put a bunch of items you won't be buying filling up your refrig. If so, I will just remove and put on a shelf or on the desk. I use our refrig for bottles of water.

I went on line and haven't found anywhere to pick which dining we want. As instructed on here, I went to Cruise Activities to select and all it had was the specialty dining venues to book. I booked on line and wasn't given a choice when booking. I want late dining if possible.Is that assigned automatically?

Waiting in line the first day of a Princess cruise to arrange dining, no longer the case and hasn't for a very long time. Now on the Medallion Application (on your phone) we can book in advance. I have picked our dining room and the exact time we would like to arrive.It is anytime dining in all the dining rooms but you can in advance pick the time , either day by day or for the whole cruise. So in effect it is fixed dining. or you can just show up and wait in the no reservation line.Since cruising resumed and the Medallion appl.mostly fully functioning, this can be done way in advance of cruising. We are Elite with Princess and can do it. Possibly if not elite, maybe not available. Don't know. So as far as HAL goes, no way to book any times or early or late? That is my question. We are a group of 8 and want to be organized prior to boarding if possible.

Haven't cruise on HAL for several years. Are we able to book dining room in advance(not specialty)? On Princess they no longer have a fixed dining room but we can book specific times and do it for the whole cruise. Also we can add our cruising companions. All done on the App. Don't see on HAL's appl. anywhere that I can do the same. Please help. We have 8 in our party so would be helpful to handle this prior to cruising. Thanks for any help.

Totally agree with you on this. As I posted above, hope that what I told you isn't set in stone.Wonder if this is something that Princess will openly talk about or it will just fade away like the other benefits that were dropped.

I was the one who got email from friend regarding this elimination. Sorry I passed this on to another friend who posted it. Unless we hear from Princess or someone actually experiences this drop in benefit, don't know if every ship will do this, or maybe the rules will slightly change etc. The person that actually emailed this to me usually gets things right but again, maybe this isn't for sure yet. I did email my travel agent who is usually in the know on all Princess happenings and she wasn't aware of this benefit being dropped. We are all seeing changes on Princess(us that have sailed with them for many years). If you go on other cruise lines, you will hear the same thing from passengers. I was on Carnival with the Poster and expected nothing, just an inexpensive week away. So surprised how well the passengers with status were treated. To get laundry etc, only 75 days with them and you get it as Platinum members. Will I continue on Carnival as my new cruiseline of choice, probably not.Short cruising not what we do.

Kindles do stop working. I had my kindle third generation with keyboard. So old but loved it. A few months ago got email that it will no longer be compatible with downloading any books. Mine was the one where with 3G could download anywhere in the world with 3G cell service. So that ended about two years ago but the WIFI still worked for downloading at home. Well,the notice I got said in August couldn't download anymore books. Got a discount from Amazon for a new one, $40 in free books, and got the 11th generation paperwhite. Couldn't decide between that and Oasis. After reading reviews bought the paperwhite. Absolutely love it now but when I got it was ready to give it back. Really a big learning curve and still there are things I don't know. It has a wonderful screen , adjusts brightness. Can read in the dark without waking my husband (on a cruise ship). So many reasons to love and weighs less. I didn't try to download when on cruise. I have so many books downloaded. With Amazon Prime you also get new books offered monthly for free. Before I cruise, I download more books. can still read on my old Kindle but was able to transfer books to new one . Very easy to do it.

Just in Mazatlan on another cruise line two weeks go. It was docked in the usual port location as Princess and my cabin on port side was not against the dock but facing towards the water.

When this happened to us on Discovery, we got all the information from Princess. We were lucky that terminal 93 wasn't being used by another cruise ship so check in was in there, boarding buses, and luggage drop off. Wonder how you can check in if another ship is also checking in there. Also people wanting to park at parking lot, none at 46 , so would have to at pier 92, 93. We were lucky that returning cruise was at 93 so luggage pick up and car parked was right there.

we are in a mini suite and got the offer to bid on suites. The minimum bids were higher than I was willing to pay. Least expensive suite bid start was $890 each for a Vista Suite. Showed that it was a weak bid so I didn't bother. Diamond Princess. Traveling with friends so getting club class dining would have done us no good.
