Although I've read this forum pretty extensively, I have a few unanswered questions: (1) I have found a direct train from Waterloo East to Dover Priory, but I haven't seen mention of going from Waterloo to Dover. Is it correct that you can board a direct train from Waterloo East to Dover Priory? (2). Has anyone used Blackberry Cars to get to (and/or from) Dover cruise port? Any other recommendations? OMG! You are the only person (outside of a few in my family) who eat grits with over-easy eggs! We must be related! BTW - I have had pretty good luck with grits on my cruises.

I had this same question. We are on the Carnival Legend July 19, 2024 cruise out of Dover. I just spent close to 30 min on the phone with Carnival -- only to be told that the shuttle service would not be available to book until 4-6 months out. They could not give me an estimate of the cost, but from other posts on the internet, it looks like it would be $100 or more, per person! I checked Uber XL prices, and they seem very reasonable -- approx $280 for 6 people from London hotel to Dover cruise terminal.

Can anyone tell me if you can take advantage of the Elite Plus 20% discount on drink packages when purchasing a drink package that is discounted through the current sale? IOW - would I get 20% off of the Black Friday special drink package price?

I have been in the "new" OV cabins several times. I, too, have thought that the starboard side OVs are larger.

Less than 30 minutes. Then you need to take the train into Dublin (about 15 min, I think).

We recently stayed at the Hampton Inn Waterloo. We found it was clean, comfortable, good breakfast and nice location. Only a couple blocks to Waterloo station. There is an elevator/lift to the train platforms.

We booked a panoramic ocean view for two people for about $2100 total (did not get All Included) for 1/14/2024.

We stayed at the Hotel Jazz pre-cruise a few years ago. We also thought it was a good choice. I had the best Sangria ever at the rooftop bar!

There was a huge price drop on our Oct, 22, 2023 TA - approx $1000! Plus an additional $200 OBC. Orig booking (Silhouette prime veranda - on the hump on deck 7) was approx $3,400 -- revised total price $2450! Did repricing about a week ago.

We are just off the Beyond. There was no early/late dining. The 4-restaurant setup is really not conducive to it. Of course, who knows for the Ascent, but I would doubt it.

We would like to have dinner two nights at restaurants that charge a fee (other than any high-end chef's table type venues) Which two would you recommend? We like most types of food. Thank you!

I was on the infinity in December. There are no "high-end" (Tiffany, Gucci, etc.) stores on the Infinity, but there are high-end products such as watches and jewelry, name-brand purses (not sure about LV) and clothing (Lilly P. for one). There is a small Apple Store. Alcohol, including expensive "high shelf", by the bottle is also available for purchase. Of course, you can also use your OBC for excursions, spa treatments, hair and nail services and fitness classes. You will probably have no trouble spending your OBC! Have fun!

My advice is to make sure your teen goes to the first night get-together. Everyone is new at that point. My kids loved sailing on Celebrity.
