  1. Could use avios on Iberia via madrid. Also AA has nonstops to ORD out of both.
  2. I would agree - depending on the flight time drive to MIA, TPA or MCO and stay the night as many hotels have park and fly deals and shuttle to the airport. You return will most likely arrive in the late afternoon so stay another night at the same hotel. It will make the travel days a lot easier and most certainly cost less than 2K pp.
  3. I think if you book the hotel through regent for extra nights they give you the transportation from airport to hotel and then to ship.
  4. "deviate" means request a specific airline flight date class and get your flight earlier than you would if you waited for regent to pick your flights for you. For instate a deviate is a : "cruise ends in rome but I choose to fly out of milan 14 days later than the end date and only wanted one stop max and requested American one world." I got that route at no extra cost but then there was a schedule change 3 months later and the BA/American connection didn't work so they rebooked me on delta.
  5. Or American status which translates to one world.
  6. Seems like they have been screwing up more often than not these days
  7. Wrong they do not and didn’t on the holy land cruise not the NZ cruise (which was 100% thier fault). You can defend the contract all you want but it is bad business and it will cost regent in the end.
  8. Generally morning is preferred. On sea days I've seen both times offered on port days usually only have seen the 4pm so maybe my memory is bad or they changed that. I guess the 4 pm is good if you eat late but we are usually stuffed after the cooking class so we prefer the 10 am slot.
  9. I just booked the Shorex on our 12/7/24 cruise on splendor but there are no cooking classes showing yet. It is 15-day cruise with 5 seadays so I would expect some classes but nothing showing as of today.
  10. We stayed at the Londra palace in November 2-4. Hotel was great breakfast very good. Had a room with terrace but it was somewhat cool to really enjoy it but the view of the canal and the alps was wonderful. Minibar was included in the room. Agree Venice was very crowded and with high tide and the walkways over the flooding made St. Marks such a crowded a mess it felt like Disney!
  11. here is a link to thread - we have enjoyed them they are hands on and you eat what you make and drink wine as well.
  12. Seems like regent air is a crap shoot. Had great flight selection once and horrible service arriving later night before cruise on another. I have it booked on upcoming SA dec 24 cruise but will search for my own booking or using miles 330 days out and if I find a comparable fare than the regent air plus deviation fee, I'll definitely book it.
  13. I live in Belize most of the year and the snorkeling and diving is much better at half moon caye. The nearby aquarium dive site is phenomenal. Blue hole wouldn’t be much interest for snorkeling unless you plan on free diving. There is also a bird sanctuary and a tower that puts you at nesting level of the boobies and the frigate birds.
  14. received this from my TA: "I called Silversea today with your question about the tours that they offer. The agent that I spoke with said that he does not think that what you are seeing on the website is correct. They are in the process of loading tours for 2025. He thinks it's not fully updated yet. He said to check back in a couple days." I hope that is the case, I would prefer to book the SS tours since I have $1500 OBC.
  15. Most of the excursions are bookable. The seville and alahabra have a similar message not sure if this is why they show them full (they aren't showing waitlisted like you could get on the list: FULL $129.00 SEVILLE! (XRY-B) Cádiz, Spain Few destinations in Spain can match the splendid beauty, charm and architecture of this historic city. The city of Seville is famous worldwide for its culture, monuments, traditions and artistic heritage and is the birthplace of Flamenco. This full-day tour explores the sights of Seville, along with some free time for lunch and independent exploration Points of interest seen on this excursion may include: Seville, City Centre, Reales Alcazares Palace, La Giralda Mosque, Cathedral, Old Jewish Quarter, Plaza America, Plaza de España Reservation note: Due to the particular reservation system of the Alcazar of Seville, entrance tickets are not guaranteed until 1 month before the call, therefore this tour is booked on wait list. If Silversea manage to get group tickets (nominative tickets with each Guest Passport number) for the suitable entrance time, the waitlisted bookings will be cleared following the order of the reservation date. A message will be e-mailed to all waitlisted Silversea Guests to notify the confirmation of their booking. Guests are advised to bring their passport with them on tour as Alcazar will check that names and passport number of each guest correspond to the ticket purchased. Please make sure Silversea has your passport details.
  16. Good point about the roll call.
  17. Booked the ray for October 2025. Excursion list is very limited. The select excursions to go to Seville (cadiz port) both days and alahmbra (Malaga port) are listed as full. Does silverseas add additional excursion or capacity closer to the date or just plan on booking my own tour. Seems like they don’t realize how popular those tours are which is surprising. They charge extra so you think they would add some .
  18. Awesome thank you that can definitely work. We booked silver ray from Lisbon to Barcelona.
  19. Has anyone seen pictures of the verandah Tub/Shower area? All the YouTube videos are just the shower only rooms. Curious to see what it looks like.
  20. You I remember that night lol always takes someone to mess up a good plan.
  21. Just reviewing my FCC they gave me. What a joke - First of all I used a FCC from the NZ cruise back in January that regent screwed up. So, the deducted that from my "fare paid" for the calculation which reduced my new FCC to a miniscule amount. Kind of a double dip in my option for if I would not have used the NZ FCC on this cruise but rather applied it on my future and probably final regent cruise it would I would have received more. Also the fact that not everyone was treated the same with the regent air debacle, some such as us should have been offered more. Our friends who booked the lowest cabin received their air 3 days before and 3 nights hotel in Istanbul whereas we who had booked the pre-cruise package arrived the night before and had no opportunity to see Istanbul and still had to pay $100 bucks for a Turkey visa. As well stated on the SS board by @wristband :"I am sad to say, again my opinion, Regent has lost its way since it reopened and their new CEO Andrea appears lost at sea about the decline and chorus of customer complaints." I wholeheartedly have to agree. I am no spring chicken at 61 but still have several good years of cruising and I really don't think Regent values their customers anymore and thinks they can just replace them.
  22. This sums up my opinion of regent after the past two cruises with them. Nailed it. and it goes past Andrea the whole senior staff on land and onboard seem lost as well.
  23. Is that the shower in the tub/shower room?
  24. nice review. One question how was the shower size in the combo room? Are there any photos. DW (also a cat lover) likes her soak, but my gripe on the dawn was the small shower.
