Now that you have those luggage tag holders, here is a tip. Save the tag page as a jpeg, then crop it to the size of the tag. Then you can insert the jpeg four times on a one page word document. You are then only using one piece of paper to print four tags. Saves paper in cheapo fashion. I even use text boxes with our names, so they print on the tags.

Yeah, that would not work for us, since will will be at different locations, and can't depend on them getting it to where we are at any point. Looks like we will need to order to pick up at the port.

Haha, Not sure that will work. We both gained about 4 pounds in the last month with two cruises plus eating out too much with family at the beach house. Not sure how we will do with those tempting deserts, plus familytime next Christmas.

Cooking for our daughter and her family tonight. Susan did the bacon potatoes and corn, and my task was making chicken cordon bleu. Rated 5 out of 5, except by my granddaughter, who only gave it a 3 because it didn’t include ice cream and cookies.

Yeah, I was selling beers for $0.15 to $0.25, and the 16 oz Pepsi for $0.20. Everything at 100% of my cost. Next I will be saying “Ah, the good old days!”

I have been dwelling over on the Princess Boards, reading up on medallion class and getting acquainted with their new app they just rolled out. I went through their app, and I am actually checked in for that cruise, even though it isn’t until next January. I was looking through the package I bought, and I thought it said you would get two premium desserts per sailing, but on further inspection, it is two per day. Oh my, I hope these don’t have any calories, or I may be in trouble.

Then I might move into the boozer category. 🤣

I am battling depression today, as it seems I have crossed into that territory where I start saying, “I remember when that cost only ….” We picked up some things at the grocery store to cook for supper, but Susan had forgot to get a couple things, so I ran back. She said “I know I am going to need a rum and coke, so we need coke”. Or, in her case it is Pepsi. So I bring home a six pack of those slightly less than 16 oz bottles, and I say. “The sale price was $6. That is $24 a case! I remember when I was buying a case of 16oz Pepsi for only $2.40 when I ran the fraternity house beer and pop concession!” To which she said “Yeah, that was 50 years ago!” May have to have a drink myself.

So, maybe not specifically app related, but a question about getting the medallion. I seem to recall reading that they would be mailed 10-20 days before your sailing. Our problem is we will be leaving home about 30 days before our cruise. Has anyone been able to receive them more than 30 days before their cruise? If so, did you just order earlier on the app, or call CS to have them put a rush on one? I know if you don’t order it in time, they will have it at the port for you to pick up, but that puts you in a different line. Or what happens if you order it, and it isn’t received before you leave home? I assume it would take some time to make you new ones at the port.

Hard Rock is a really nice place. Like you, a little rich for a stay, but we walked there to donate some money in their casino. buy some expensive drinks so we would feel ready for the cruise Look at Neil Diamond’s 56 T-Bird and look at all the features of this unique hotel/casino It is worth the admission price for a one time walk through (same cost as a CC membership), although the extras (slot machines and drinks) can put a dent in your budget. Good thing you had back up credit cards. I do the same, just in case.

Getting out of town before the next snow arrives on Friday. The couple times we sailed from San Juan, we stayed in the Condado area, but at the Marriott Resort. Will be interested to see what you think of the Ocean Club. Enjoy.

Yeah, online and the app need to still sync, I think. The points showed under past cruises yesterday, but the point total didn’t update till tonight. I think they just need to go through another cycle to update the D to D+. Didn’t know you needed minus points to get there. 🤣🤣

Anyone know the most reliable way to inform them of an allergen that is not listed? Call them, or inform wait staff on the first night. On Celebrity, they knew at specialty restaurants once we informed wait staff on first night. Thanks for this hint. Just updated my preferences.

Ours that ended 9 days ago have partially updated. The points were just added tonight, but the change from D to D+ still hasn’t updated. Probably another day for that to catch up. Maybe I will log out of the app and back in tomorrow to see if that updates that part.

Just an FYI. Those outrageous numbers for Coco Cay never came down on Black Friday, and they are still triple what we paid Black Friday for our cruise this month. Still looking for Coco Cay drops for our August cruise.

I still get that. Several times when my wife and I have been out to eat, a waiter has walked up behind me and asked what you ladies would like today. Then, they walk a little more and see my beard and go Oops. I have a few stories about traveling in the south with a couple fraternity brothers during my college days, and the “reception” we got in some places. Different times!

Hope everyone is doing well. @dani negreanu Dani, good to see a few reactions to posts, so I assume you are doing ok, under the circumstances. I am always thinking of you and your family. Plans for Summer of Fun 4.0 are underway. Just booked our week in Myrtle Beach this summer, and got our flights booked. Flight booking was not without a glitch. After entering names, birthdates, etc. for Susan and me, our California grandson, our daughter and her two kids, it tells me I can’t have multiple bookings for the same person. For some reason, it would change her kids names to hers, so I had to go back and enter the kids names again. Next, I start entering gift cards. By the time I entered 4 of those, it logged me out before I hit the purchase button. Dang, I have to log back in and start everything over again. At least I knew the name glitch this time, and watched as it changed the grandkids names to my daughter’s name so I could correct it this time. Fortunately, it didn’t say my gift cards had been used, which was my fear. So, flights booked, and an oceanfront suite booked for all of us. A couple weeks after that, and we will all be heading out on Utopia, so I need to look at Florida flights soon. Now I have to see if Daryl plans to come along on these trips.

I seem to remember reading that the lower level would be used as a more formal and relaxed dining area, but I can’t find that again. One of the other levels would be used for those who wanted to get in and out quickly, and the other dining level for somewhere between the two. Hopefully it will become clear soon.
