  1. Agreed, just used them for transfers from airport to hotel and Rome hotel to Civitavecchia and they were prompt ( actually early) with excellent cars
  2. Very helpful! Thanks for posting!
  3. Good afternoon- I emailed the Vietnam embassy 2 weeks ago but have not yet heard back regarding the Phu My port and e visas. Have you been able to make contact with them regarding the ability to use the evisa and that port? thanks
  4. That itinerary is happening in Oct 2023 as well however the Sydney to Singapore leg has been almost completely sold out for months( one or 2 cabins show up randomly) so not showing up on website search
  5. HI again, we have not used them before but have found nummerous very positive reviews on cruisecritic as well as tripadvisor and google. They have been prompt with email contact.
  6. https://www.italytours.eu/ we are working with them in Marseilles and also in Livorno
  7. True but its a bummer when it drops and you can’t do anything 😒-loved it when you could get an OBC for the difference.
  8. No issue as long as it is before final payment— we have done that on several cruises. I watch prices from booking until final payment ( but stop watching after that😏)
  9. It’s been a different option each time, choice of red or white, some better than others
  10. There is still a bottle of wine for booking on board on day 1
  11. We were on Eclipse in early March and felt like the food was quite good (MDR)
  12. Ditto- Both our upcoming cruises were there yesterday but no loyalty level or points and today its all gone 😣
  13. 2nd the recommendation for Moti Bar Tuv - have toured with him on 2 Israel visits and were able to customize our tours each day
  14. we received some port time changes yesterday for the Feb 2024 Solstice - leaving Hue 2 hours later and arriving Halong Bay the next day 90 min later
  15. You will see some men with suits or jackets but most are like @davekathy with Dockers and nice shirt
  16. this was from 2020: Per the Celebrity Cruise Ticket contract updated 10/20/2020, section 4f: f. Passenger Testing Positive for COVID-19 During Cruise. Passenger understands and agrees that if, after boarding, and even if Passenger has fully complied with all COVID-19 Policies and Procedures, Passenger tests positive for COVID-19 or exhibits signs or symptoms of COVID-19, Carrier may disembark, refuse re-boarding after a shore excursion, or quarantine Passenger as well as members of Passenger’s travelling party, or take other steps which Carrier determines, in its sole discretion, are necessary under the circumstances to protect the health and well-being of others. Under these circumstances, any such Passenger with a known or suspected case of infection with COVID-19 who is disembarked, refused re-boarding, or quarantined shall be entitled to a prorated refund or future cruise credit for the unused portion of the Cruise Fare. For further details, refer to Carrier’s refund and cancellation policy at www.celebritycruises.com. Each such Passenger is responsible for all other related costs and fines, including without limitation travel expenses. Under no circumstances shall Carrier be liable to any such Passenger for any costs, damages or expenses whatsoever incurred by any Passenger.
  17. I'm fairly sure that this verbiage was there soon after restart as I had similar concerns. From personal experience, they did not disembark us in Australia with covid earlier this year-we had 5 day isolation with very attentive followup
  18. Thanks to @Ifplenore and @John Bull. I had reviewed the official government site but still wasn’t clear about cruise stops as opposed to air/ land entries or embarkation/ disembarkation. We have 3 different stops on our Celebrity cruise- does that require 3 e visas or would one for the first port stop suffice? We are not doing overnights away from the ship but do have private tours at 2 of the stops.
  19. It appears that, pre-Covid, "looseleaf visas", or visas on arrival were arranged by some cruise lines. I cannot find any info on the Celebrity site as to whether that will be arranged for stops this season but we dont cruise until early 2024. I know that there have not been that many ocean cruises that have called on Vietnam since Asia reopening but wonder if anyone on the cruises later this year has gotten information regarding this? Thanks in advance, Susan
  20. We were there in Nov and there was no request for proof of insurance at either Ashdod or Haifa port.
  21. We were in Israel in Nov for 5 days with Azamara and used Moti Bar-Tuv https://travel-israel.info/cruises-excursions - this was our 2nd visit to Israel and our 2nd time touring with him. Highly recommend. Private tours are expensive but so worth it.
