  1. My jeans were designed by somebody named "Levi". They're a very popular brand! Elvis
  2. You should refer to him as "The King", not "The Elvis"! Elvis
  3. I was in Newfoundland last September and a few years ago. It's like you said, next to impossible to find cigars! Even in Quebec I couldn't find any! It must be could up there, eh? (Did you see how I snuck that "eh" in there? Do you think I'd make a good Canadian?) Elvis
  4. Belvedere, Chopin, and Ketel One are good vodkas. Grey Goose and Ciroc, in my opinion, are swill! Elvis
  5. I'm going to bring my torch on this trip, seeing I don't have to fly! Where in Canada do you live? I have friends that live in the Toronto area in Woodbridge. Elvis
  6. Just be advised, it's next to impossible to light your stogie on a moving ship in the Sunset Bar, unless you have a torch lighter, and they are supposedly not allowed on the ship. Lucky for me the bartender had one and would light my stick for me every night. Elvis
  7. I was on Silhouette last February, had the premium package, and was served my martini in a large glass! Of course, if they do serve your martini in a small glass, just order two! And CG, drinking a martini from a margarita glass is a sacrilege! Elvis
  8. You can get the Martini flight any time, but be advised, it does take some work and may put two bartenders out of commission for about 20 minutes. I ordered one for myself and one for Priscilla. It was very impressive to see 12 martinis poured at once! Elvis
  9. The cigars offered for sale are very expensive! You are better off bringing your own. Also, you can never rely on storage conditions. They could be over-humidified or dry! And be advised, if the ship is moving it is next to impossible to light your cigar unless you have a torch lighter, which you're not supposed to have on the ship. The bartender at The Sunset Bar had one and always offered me a light. (this was on Silhouette) I like to end every evening with a cigar and cognac, just like they did in Titanic. We all know how that ended! Elvis
  10. Try Norwegian Cruise Lines. Their cigar lounges are very nice! Elvis
  11. It's not "Silly", it's Silhouette! What would you call "Titanic"? Elvis
  12. How have you been? Or should I say "How youse guys doin? It's nice when an old friend chimes in! Stay well! Elvis
  13. You are absolutely correct! Elvis
  14. Sorry, I was using spell check! Maybe I should just call it "Millie". No, maybe not! Elvis
  15. There's something that's been eating away at me for some time. I've spoken to many Navy Veterans and they all agree on this subject. When giving the name of a ship you should not precede it with "The". It is not "The" Beyond, "The" Apex, or "The" Millenium. It is simply Beyond, Apex, and Millenium. Refer to a ship as you would refer to your spouse. They are not "The" Elvis and "The" Priscilla. They are simply Elvis and Priscilla! And while we are at it. You should never shorten a ship's name. It is Millenium, not "Millie". You wouldn't call Titanic...well, you get the idea. As you can see, I have way topo much time on my hands! Elvis
  16. How about converting that space into a cigar lounge? If they put in the right ventilation system it would be okay! Smokers (cigars only) would have the option of smoking at the Sunset Bar, where they are at the mercy of the weather, or a nice comfy indoor lounge. Just a thought! Elvis You know of course no matter where we smoke we are plotting the take-over of the world!
  17. Even though they are moving away from formal night, I always have my tux with me! I love getting dressed up! It makes me feel very "James Bond-ish". You have to remember; somebody has to be the best dressed man aboard! Elvis
  18. Just because they are in a humidor doesn't necessarily mean they are in good condition. The humidor must be in good working order and kept up regularly. And be aware, on a moving ship it's very windy back there and next to impossible to light a cigar properly. I was on Silhouette last February. If the bartender at the Sunset Bar didn't have a torch lighter, I'd still be up there trying to light my stick! NCL has nice indoor lounges to smoke in. Princess, I understand, recently did away with their cigar lounges. RCL used to have beautiful lounges, but they've been gone for some time. When I first sailed on X back in 2001, believe it or not they allowed cigar smoking in one bar on the ship. I was on Celebrity Zenith. As long as they give us a spot where we can smoke our stogies, have a drink, and plot the takeover of the world, I'm satisfied! Elvis
  19. I would still like an indoor cigar lounge, well ventilated, away from all the moaning and complaining, where I can sit down with my fellow cigar smokers and make plans as to how we're going to take over the world! Elvis
  20. Try Norwegian. They have very nice cigar lounges. Elvis
  21. It is my understanding that smoking cigars is only allowed at the Sunset Bar on deck 15. I recently cruised on Silhouette (the same class as Eclipse) and found it next to impossible to light my cigar without the use of a torch lighter. In fact, if the bartender up there didn't have a torch lighter, I'd still be up there trying to light my stogie! Once you do get it lit though it's a great place to enjoy your smoke and in my case cognac! (Just like they did on Titanic! We all know how that turned out!) If anybody is on the May 11th sailing of Eclipse, feel free to join me up there every night for my evening ritual! Elvis
  22. I got it last week for my May cruise on Eclipse. Elvis
