  1. Ok I had Tiffin on Aurora at Christmas. Firsy time for a while. Used to get ot on Ventura.
  2. Well we love sea days so the long Ventura out and back Caribbean are great for us. We have done 3 of them, with 2 booked.
  3. Selbourne, Just read the thread and I am interested in the fact that they were offered an accessible cabin. I did notice that it was on Arvia in the Caribbean.I have found in the past that many6 disabled passengers , do not fly for one reason or another and that all of the times it has been reported that an accessible has been given to a non disabled person hays been on a fly cruise.
  4. You also have to add in choice of dining, first sitting, second sitting or freedom. These are important to some.
  5. Correct, I have met you 🙂
  6. Quite correct the letters are useless to me as i have to book so far in advance.
  7. Actually it’s a waste of **** time if you are disabled as to get a cabin you have to book of day one of the booking period. Not within a few weeks of getting a letter from the casino, of which I have had a few.
  8. Don’t agree we have missed ports on Aurora, Oriana and Arcadia it is just a fact of cruising. On our last Aurora we missed 2 ports cos of the wind. So the problem is not just big ships.
  9. Not on our last 6 cruises since lockdown. However the last Formal night has turned into a Black And White night as that is what the ladies have brought. The others never were bothered with at all. I on the other hand have 3/4 Caribbean nights each cruise. Just to myself. Dai
  10. It’s how much you spend.
  11. Sounds good to me. Just the job. Dai
  12. Are you sure this was the captain? Sounds more like the Cruise Director (ents manager)
  13. Unfortunately COVID restrictions put an end to a lot of the interactions. However I feel they are slowly coming back
  14. Correct. This has always worked for me. If you have a problem get it sorted.
  15. You do not lose your status. They did have a 3 year rule about 10 years ago. It was scrapped. Any cruises after 2001 still count. This is when the POSH club ended. Not sure of the exact date but our 2001 August cruise still counts.
  16. The changes are a Sindhu where the library was and a Glass House instead of Cafe B. Oh and the casino has opened up to be part of Champions. We were on at Christmas and that was not cheap. Dai
  17. You do use your room card in the machines but when you spend money it does not come out of OBC
  18. I think the Key is he went twice. 🙂 We are on in a 18 days I will let you know. Dai
  19. There is or at least was a small ferry between the 2 berths 10 mins to get from one to the other.
  20. That is the best dock for the town and is where the main cruise terminal is. The container bit is just along the dock
  21. I was referring to cargo ships not passenger ships they must be all affected.
  22. If you are wanting to book on board just go to the restaurant and book a table for 3 using one cabin not a problem. I have never booked before we were on the ship but I would imagine it was possible to book for the number of people you want. Again on one cabin number.
  23. Exactly book first day possible at 0800. Which is the reason why I have so many booked now. I think its 11.
  24. Of course they are. We are not paying anywhere near what we paid for our first cruise in 2001. Some cruises in the past 5 years have been 25% down on that first cruise. Pppn. In fact we have only paid more when in a suite and that was only just over what we paid.
