  1. But YOU specifically mention "platinum"...which is a level. You did NOT mention anything about points. Lets just leave the goal posts where they are. People making levels due to double and triple points, IMHO, just tend to lessen that achievement, which again contradicts the idea that platinum is "elite". And sorry, but I'm totally unaware of anything NCL is doing that "positions" platinum as "elite". Which would be nothing but a pointless distraction. Your comment was specifically about latitude levels...NOT casino status. Yes, I was aware that you mentioned your casino status, but my comment was in response to your lattitude level observation which is separate from the casino. I'm not minimizin any status, I just don't agree with the idea that a mid-level status qualifies as "elite". But I suppose you'll find a twist that somehow makes sapphire (a third-level status) "elite" as well. The problem with this, of course, is that if you think platinum/sapphire are "elite", then you have nothing left to use to categorize diamond or ambassador.
  2. I'm not saying anything...the screen grab is from Virgin and it directly conflicts with post #43. One says "$10 daily specialty coffee credit" and the other says "does NOT include $10 per day in specialty coffee".
  3. Of the seven latitude levels, Platinum is right in the middle...three levels above and three levels below. If latitude levels were grades, Platinum would be a "C"...right in the middle...average. JMHO, but Ambassador "yes", Diamond "maybe", but I don't think NCL would consider a mid-level latitude level to be "elite".
  4. Then somebody should tell Virgin so they stop misleading people.
  5. I love the shirts...has anyone on a cruise ever connected a shirt to the movie?
  6. With the wristband, is it just a scan for your drinks, or do you have to sign each time?
  7. Just promise to provide us a link to it once you've done it...(I need the laughs)
  8. And likely bigger than your room at citizenM

  10. Hmmm...interesting. Got me thinking...I have Deeb Blue Extra which includes $10 per day in specialty coffee (normally useless for me as I do not drink coffee). If I'm understanding this correctly, I can order room service every day and include a specialty coffee. The coffee comes at no cost to me, and I can throw the coffee out and, in effect, get room service for free, right?
  11. Hmmm...mine isn't showing yet...I'll just keep checking.
  12. Where and when does it show that you qualify for DBE?
  13. See...now THIS would have been a good use for the branded water bottle from your hotel! 😏
  14. Did you also call and cancel the credit card that was used to make the bid? If not, why not?
  15. Oh gawd . . . the sink is IN the room and not in the bathroom!!! Pray that the Norwegian Epic haters don't see this! 🙄
  16. On the bright side . . . By this time tomorrow, you will be in a better place. With a margarita.
  17. Ditto....follow Sid's live review (Scarlet Lady / Live / Solo - May-21-26-2023)...he is the same demographic that you are and you'll get great insight from the review.
  18. According to the Latitudes Dept: Priority Restaurant & Entertainment Seating: Provides priority seating, based on availability, in main dining rooms. Please visit the hostess stand advising your latitude status and they will take care of the rest. As for entertainment, there is a special section in the theater roped off for the shows you choose to attend. This is applicable to complimentary shows in the theater.
  19. Actually, it is an option (at least according to their website) I do not like wearing things on my wrist, are there other options other than the wearable? --There are plenty of ways to rock The Band based on your style. Wear it as a bracelet, on your belt or simply tuck it in your pocket, we'll give you The Band as a keepsake no matter how you want to carry it. However, if you prefer a key card, we'll have some on standby at the terminal. Please note, fun extras like Shake for Champagne, ShipEats on the pool deck and quick access to events is not available with a standard key card. My question is better defined as "Can you get a key card in ADDITION to the band?" as some folks keep the key cards as souvenirs.
  20. I know they offer it, but do you get a room card as well or are you happy with just the bracelet?
  21. So, I have to ask...how did you get "Sid" on the bracelet? Did VV do that for you? Also... Looking at Virgin's site, they advertise theme parties (PJs and Scarlett night)...do you plan to participate? Have you in the past? How are they?
  22. Unless I missed it in the first 9 pages...what are you hitting the ship with as far as your bar tab? I'm curious to watch that as I want to see how long the VV bar tab lasts... Oh...drink menus from the bars, menus from the restaurants, and daily planners if you have a chance (always appreciated).
  23. Unless you want it to pair better with that margarita...
