I have a black and white lap fleece blanket I bought on miracle. Not expensive, was on sale. No more than $10. Small, and it folds into a square. Bought it in onboard stores. Sitting next to it on my sofa.

So defensive!! I'm amazed people cant post facts without being attacked. I didnt say rcl couldnt make decisions based on money. You must be really blinded to not notice the cuts to help the bottom line. Dont put words in my mouth I didnt say. I get it you cant stand rcl to be negatively mentioned. Some good, mostly good, a few negative things. You guys with the loyal to royal attitude are a bit defensive. I knew to stay away from this thread. Some loyal people cant stand the truth. I love the aft corner. No way I'm paying 10k solo rate for any cabin. Jubilee and harmony were both coming in about the same time, though yes I know jubilee pushed back but even a inside on jubilee was around $1250, and a balcony on harmony around $850. Naturally I went with the balcony for $400 less. Though both have gone up since then. Still watching and hoping for a deal on jubilee. Hope springs eternal. It's not i love one better than the other, i just cant see paying 50% more for carnival.

The price. It's the best deal. Carnival is higher $$$. Like rcl I'm about my wallet. Though I'm not sure why you care why I cruise. I'm just not oblivious to issues they have had. I've had trouble in Mdr multiple times. This is where they have fallen down the worst with me. The floor mgrs have been not good. I miss when they took time to seat people together. It was just a statement how I feel. Everyone is entitled to form their opinion based on their experiences. OP you should know by now not to complain. I'm hoping when they finally turn a profit they will lighten up a bit on the cost cutting.

Used to match people up for seating at big tables in Mdr. Giving me a studio when i paid a solo supplement last January. I no showed. I have that email dated last year denying me obc for decreased and missed port. Says they dont refill once you lock in fees and taxes .. they are breaking their own policy to rebill people for bahamas. Cruise if you want to, or dont. Rcl is not for pax, we know they dont care. Their goal is to turn things around and get back to profitability. I agree they are a dishonest company. I put no faith in their honesty.

Looks like rcl is in a trading range to me, waiting for thursday earnings. I expect them to blow earnings out of the water, but will it be enough to sustain these lofty price levels? I went short before close yesterday. I admit iffy with earnings thursday. Been watching and might as well make some $$$ while I watch it trade. Big push higher right before close yesterday but hard to hold. Back from my vacation so watching closely again.

Even comedians on carnival bash other lines. Carnival bashs and it's ok, but cant take it? Agree with above who said it's like football teams. Whichever one you are on bashes the others. Carnival cruisers need to get their sense of humor going.

A b2b is just the same ship twice. Sometimes you see s2s and it's from 1 ship to another, usually the same day. I got a bunch in my signature. Nov 26 harmony in my signature is a b2b2b or b3b you sometimes see.

Actually on papers I've seen left in your cabin, for adults, milkshakes at JR were excluded with your vouchers .. though yes some have gotten it. Some yes, some no.

Idk if you are interested but I go to the vitality spa to get vitamin water which is flavored. Sometimes they have it iced on a cart on port days but otherwise the vitality spa is the only place to get it. The power aide and red bull you can get from any bar.

It means you just cant use the pkg for the stand alone Starbucks, doesnt mean the cafe isnt a Starbucks brand you can have. I think Seattle's best, but I've seen the Starbucks logo. There is a cafe deck 6 near the customer service, another deck 8 I think is the cafe promenade where the roast beef sandwiches are .. they also make specialty coffee. The buffet has a soda machine you can use with your cup. If you forget your cup, ask a crew member for soda. The machine has some choices the bars dont have. Idk about decaf, I avoid decaf. My sister ordered a mocktail and I think it was 10.99. Not sure you can get 8 mocktails for $80 including tip. Maybe hers was more because it was in the theater? You can carry on 12 soda or water, not sure how much you consider a flat. 12 per cabin.

From 11 to 11 is beer and wine. In the morning there is continental and a specialty coffee machine. At 5 pm there are snacks hot and cold that vary by the day. And mixed drinks from 5 pm.

Imo without comparing specific ships, kinda useless. I've done both, and sure of course celebrity has fewer kids, but how can you compare shows? If you dont even know which ships. Oasis class has the best shows ..

They were on oasis near the exit with a towel stand where you check out beach towels. They must be returned or your card is charged. The area is huge. I would recommend you find the little train like shuttle to take you around. Get off when you see a area you like. I was by a nice beach area with lounge chairs and picnic tables and it had fast food like the funnel cakes warm that I love. Also chicken sandwiches and some other stuff. The free drinks like lemonade and punch. A area for mixed drinks if want to use your drink vouchers. I've read there is a free buffet but didnt find it. There are 2 pay areas, but lots of free area too. I walked off but took the train back. Hot and far to walk for me.

Now that's a idea. I was thinking if someone said hey let me cruise with you I'd have to say no, I'll never reach pinnacle without the extra solo point. Now of they were pinnacle that could change my mind :)

I think you get one every so many pts after you hit pinnacle.

Dont believe everything you hear. I'd bet he gets those cruises thru gambling. Even if it's on land. Or a credit card from carnival he gets points on. You dont get offered free random cruises because you travel and no other reason. I've cruised with carnival 20 years and never offered a free cruise. Carnival isnt offering random cruises for no reason just that he travels. It's just saying he doesnt know the link to why he is offered a free cruise.

Price matching doesnt cancel and rebooking. They keep the same booking number just reduce what you owe. Agree though if you can find a TA amd book a refundable group rate. I'm booked for 2 in feb 2025, plus I have now booked the adventure april 2025. All 3 of them if you ask me are priced high, but I think have gone up in the month or so since I booked. FOMO fear of missing out. Everyone is booking for fear the price will get even worse.

I'd bet a lot of pinnacles who wanted to sail now might be doing the allure presidents cruise out of Galveston. Might have pulled some pinnacles in.

Trying to make me wish I had a husband to share. ... 4 days would really make me happy. Years to get to pinnacle. Took me 20 years to hit diamond plus. But in a way i think it's good to have something to shoot for. I'll hit diamond on carnival on my 14 days on dream next January .. and i think what now? I'm at 197 on carnival and they award the next level, 200 pts before you board, not after like rcl.

I think she means as a loyalty perk. For instance it is free the entire cruise if you are pinnacle. My favorite pinnacle perk .. why I'd like to be pinnacle :)
